EDIT: Damn, I was a little too slow on the draw, and @chimply.kaiju got the gold. I was SO close to being a useful contributor

lol. At least your post starts on top of the new page so people don't need to go back one to see the photos.

Well now! That's a pretty nice looking Goji! If I were buying toys I'd buy that for about $100. As previously mentioned, love the stubby tail (tails are such a pain!). Great colorway too.

This goji looks fun. Even if bit heavy handed on the price. Wonder if there will be more colors?

I think this is interesting, and certainly cool to see Hirota try his hand at a licensed figure. There are some parts of it I think miss the mark a little, and others he's done quite well. I really have to agree with what @HBCoffin said earlier, which is how so many of the King Goji sculpts are all over the place - and, I think it is fair to say - the opinions on each of them is equally as varied. It is almost a lose/win overall, as each figure can really divide opinions, but this also means that there is probably a version out there that you will love. My one overall nitpick here (other than going for the obvious price gripe, which is a non-starter argument) is that it looks a little too much like the Parababy versions in overall proportions and pose. I don't know what the dimensions are, but I think this sort of thing only really works effectively at a smaller scale, whereas a large size figure it has too much heft. But who am I kidding, no one is going to/meant to play with this, right? ( :( ) It is very much a HxS take, if not totally unique looking. I'd love one, or a few, to have around and enjoy, but if it is just something I am going to have to resign to appreciating through photos on a computer, then there are a jillion other equally fun Gojis I can grab and actually love in person, without the drama and sacrifice simply because of a name associated with it.

Saw the sculpt recently. Very very fun! Hopefully the run size will be large enough to make a good amount of people happy.

I had my fingers crossed the lottery would be open to the public but it seems the KinGojis have already found their new homes. Real bummer as I was hoping to at least have a chance to get my hopes up for nothing entering a lottery I had a minute chance of winning. Anyway, looks like its an edition of 30, which also stings. Oh well, have to remind myself these are just toys that I really want but have no need for.

I know there's probably not a lot of BE@RBRICK collectors here, but the new HxS BE@RBRICK is looking pretty rad. I think many would make an exception to have one in their collection, and not simply because of the name. The nature of its visible and intricate innards makes it a straight up cool toy. The drawback is that price tag, but considering the parties involved and the custom mold they had to make for this one release it shouldn't be too surprising. If anyone is interested the lottery to purchase is open internationally via Medicom until November 7.

    BE@RBRICK HxS (HIROTA SAIGANSHO) 400%
    Price: 60,000yen (excluding tax)

It’s the new pushead secret toy club. Just enjoy the fact they share the pics. In due time some will get dumped when them hypebeasts find the new hot stuff. We’ve been here before, this too shall pass.

I find the posters a lot cooler these days, I’m kinda tired of the robots and would love to see more monkeys/monsters made.
Even the new robot zombie Itamu thing is a snooze for me

I do have to admit that bear brick is super cool, but there’s nowhere, space wise, to put it in my collection. At that point i might as well get that NNN full size thing.

On that note, new Pushead Brutal A? Or was this a strictly in-house job?

    Just as an FYI . . . the price tag screams 10000%, but it's only a 400%!

Hah, Andy beat me to it. I think you have the 400% scale confused with the 1000%. The 400% are the medium sized bears. Height is 28cm (11"). 60,000yen for a 1000% of that nature would be a hell of a deal though since the retail price on a standard release is typically between 40,000-50,000yen. 400% BE@RBRICKs run around 12,000yen on average so the HxS is priced 5 times higher. I'd guess the retail price would be around 150,000yen for a 1000% ver. Not sure if they'll ever translate it to that scale as not every 400% gets the 1000% treatment.

Not that I will ever have a chance, but I do not like that new Sabi. Reminds me of the new crap with too much zombie detail . Itamu is a much better sculpt in my opinion

Oh, not even a contest from my perspective as well. I'm mostly just curious about the design and manufacture, since I had a sense the Pushead releases were done. Also, given what I've heard the one-offs cost now, I think it might be just about profitable to produce an entirely one-off sculpt

I think that bearbrick is pretty cool looking. But at 400% it loses something - at 1000% it would be amazing.
