That Audrey II is just amazing. Love it. Seeing the original musical at the Orpheum in '84 (it capped off a daylong class trip to NYC) still ranks as one of the best entertainment experiences of my life... it was hilarious and amazing, and the giant-scale puppetry and voicing involved in Audrey II was stunning. I was greatly looking forward to the movie when previews for it hit a couple years later... one of the most disappointing movie experiences of my life. They really fucked it up, tonally... could not hold a candle to the stage version at all.

Is that a 450 or a 350 size? If it is the 350, does it have any printing on the bottom of the foot?

Jealous of all ya'all getting your Twoies! Mine is still in transit.

I gotta agree with grosspustule on how cool it is that all the parts are vinyl. Kazumitsu really displayed some ingenuity converting such a complex/bushy character, into efficient segments that could be produced as a vinyl. The glimpse he gave of the unassembled components makes the finished product seem like magic:

A very special mail day :) can't wait for big Globby to meet his little brother. Randall is so much fun to just turn over and look at. I did go a little crazy at the drop and might have a couple of bits for sale later, but I feel so lucky to have nabbed everything on my list, when I came in expecting to land just one of these two.

^^^ I've really come to appreciate Mr. Bwana's sense of color and texture (increases with every new release into the wild). I remember seeing a wall at Double Punch (a tiny toy shop in San Francisco, with gallery space upstairs--they always served nice appetizers at all of their art & toy shows, sadly they are no more) painted by Mr. Spoons, and my first thought was, I wish he'd come paint our hallway! :)

Seriously jelly over these new Summer Slime goodies!

Well, if you make a pilgrimage to his homeland in Portland Oregon, you can visit Floating World comics where fabulous Mr. Bwana has some of his work ( and many other cool vinyls and indie toys) for sale! Kind of Goopy Gravy’s brick and mortar location, I suppose. I think that little section of Floating World still goes by “Grass Hut” ... but I sort of forget.

Plus, Floating World comics is a treasure in its own right. Great comics for any taste. But a really nice focus on counter culture, and indie oddities. Plus a monthly gallery area which often features original art and sometimes even a Bwana Spoons exhibition!

Sorry for the sales pitch, but I harbor a lot of pride for my magical local comic shop . Back in the long-long ago (2007?), at Floating World’s original location, was my first introduction to “sofubi” due to some of the toys Bwana had for sale. Specifically, a pink Monstock Borugogon, which I couldn’t afford as a poor college student, but instantly pulled me into this hobby forever.

I can confirm that Floating World Is great! I’ve grabbed so many weird comix from them. They’ve even stocked some of my work in there as well!

Third cheer for Floating World! Never had the pleasure of cruising their aisles, but many a package of quality oddness have been shipped from their doors to my porch.

What were we talking about again?

I'm very excited to have these great Zollmen Monster Parade "Phantom Gift" toys in my collection!
Took one look at them and had to adopt these three weirdos
I'll post some more photos showing the awesome box art in the Zollmen thread soon too.

A big chunk of my collection is Godzilla: Vinyl Wars. Searching "Vinyl Wars" turns up hundreds of pages of Star Wars Pop Vinyls, on most web stores, so I feel you on this.

Just add the words of stuff you don't want to turn up with a - dash before each one, and they won't come up in the search.

Put "vinyl wars" in quotes to search for that exact phrase.

I always forget to post in this thread, then usually take months to get around to shooting the "real" photos and finally share something. So, here is just a quick peak before I open this little bag of fun. That little face sure is filled with a lot of joy:
