I believe the clears were 'proto' gifts and the painted is a custom (by who I have no idea) . . . Mr Muton may be able to shed more light on that fella!

I've blanked them from memory and advise you to do the same Chad . . . you know it makes sense!

I remember seeing that photo and I think I asked him. The painted one is a custom by Lash? and the clears are stripped from the Halloween Gargadeath. (I'm almost certain that's the case.)

One I know for sure was an unpainted clear gift and the other I think maybe a stripped S7 Halloween release.

agreed. maybe they should lucky bag all of these random versions that we see pop up in pictures. wish i could figure a way to force people to buy more gargamel fights to trigger a comeback with these...

True! And I'd love to see that happen. They could just use old unused stock and paint over them.

 

guys, camo would be rad--like if they camo-ed the gi on wheelbarrow and left the head tan vinyl. talking about this hurts, but it's so much better than what's actually happening in the Gargamel fight figure world.

I know Andy and everybody thinks these are dead but I refuse to believe.

They resurrected the smoking corp guys after years of absence, the resurrected the gacha mecha series after years of absence and I think they'll do the same with these. May take forever but nothing is ever dead.

 

i didn't know that about the smoking corps or gachamecha's. thank you for that small light of hope.

 

I hope the garg fighters will return someday. I'm not in any hurry. I still have 20 or so to track down. I did get excited when I saw the rotofugi flyer. I thought maybe they would have a fighter exclusive. No luck. I think they will return someday.

Does anyone happen to know what the header card for this particular Cumberlian looks like? Or does anyone have a shot of it bagged maybe? Curious to see if I have the header in my pile of random header cards...

 

At the 5:03 mark right after the first version of Eaton. It's the black header with two figures (zags? but look like lions.) It was my first super7 in store event.

Damn @bryce_r ! Didn’t waste any time! Skullbrain comes through again! That video looks like fun, and I’ll have to watch it later. And sure enough, I have the header! And once I found it amongst the pile I discovered it has part of a price sticker which actually says “Cumberlian YLW GID” lol.
