Should have only been one season though this one did pick up midway through. Final ended broken but the beginning was wonderful with Kraftwerk as I just saw them a few nights before. There was also a scene with Tyrell that felt like Fight Club and more what the first season was about being more in Elliot's head. But overall scattered and a bit dull. I think season was was a big surprise with unexpected fanfare. This one they marketed like mad and I bet most people faded away.

This season made me feel that Utopia was better. Different angle of conspiracy but tighter in the end result and some amazing set locations.

Loved seasons 2 & 3, 4 was a VERY mixed bag afaic. Did not like the end, to put it mildly.

So real Elliot is an oblivious normie and has been "kept safe" in hacker Elliot's head all this time; uh okay, except hacker Elliot very predictably KILLED normie Elliot at the end of what turned out to be one of the most pointless eps. of the entire series..??

Ran through the series start to finish a couple weeks ago. Didn't hate how it ended. At least went out on a better note than Preacher (granted that one set the bar wayyyy low).
Biggest gripe was the molestation stuff. Came across as a lazy/convenient writing and the melodramatic tone of the episodes surrounding that "twist" felt out of place with the series as a whole.

@bunnyboy I had a different take-away from the ending... but honestly couldn't tell you what that was now. With all the split personalities thrown in the mix things got a tad convoluted by the end of it all.
Funny though, that "pointless ep" was my favorite of the last season... minus the ripped-off 'Being John Malkovich' bit. Hope Spike Jonze got a royalty check for it :/

I was very satisfied with the explanations of Eliot's problems and the bigger picture, but I felt perhaps the show went on a season too long. It will always get major points from me for the high level of detail they put into the hacking aspects.

@smurph It all just felt rather contrived & ham-fisted to me, as if Esmail felt pressed to deliver an ending that spelled out ERRYTHANG for even the dumbest of fanboys (and wrote himself into a paradox). Loved the Vera ep. though, which was unexpected as I never cared much for that storyline/character... Definitely still one of the greatest & most entertaining shows in recent years despite a mixed last season!
