https://www.mbs.jp/news/sp/kansainews/20191217/GE00030849.shtml I've heard of this place before and was hoping to utilize it on a coming trip next year; Jungle has a workshop that you can rent space in for painting sofubi in Osaka and apparently last night while a couple of workers were cleaning airbrushes there was a snap and some thinner caught fire. There were 2 people taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and the fire was contained after 2 hours. I'm hoping the people recover and the injuries are minor, but it seems like the place is a complete loss. I'm curious to hear what the cause of the electrical problem was.
This is such terrible news. Haneda san from Jungle represented most of the Osaka group of artists who produce through that facility at the last Summer Slime . And we were hoping to host them again for the next. Such great people. This is a tragedy and I hope they can recover. I will contact Chika and hopefully provide more details in the future.
