Butanohana toys are currently only distributed through the [online] retail store and at events. For international collectors, nearly all avenues have dried up. Those are the basic options.

Now that clear vinyl toys are all the rage, I wonder if Mr. O will make some clear Butas?

Especially with how good those micro peanut sets look in clear, it would be nice to see more.

^ Could be Grace, but I am not so sure. The title of the post, さぼてん (saboten) seems to suggest the connection to cacti, but I think he might be alluding to the different texturing in each of those two 'sneak peak' pics; i.e. seeing cacti parts in this figure. Given the recent success of the Go! Godman kaiju, this could be another entry from one of the lesser known toku shows.

    Definitely exciting stuff!

    EDIT: here ya go, Manny

If I am able to take an educated guess, I am thinking the latter image belongs to Momonglar/Momongurā (モモングラー):

If you look closely you can also almost see the hint of the additional eye on the reverse [from this angle] side of his noggin.

I am still not able to immediately guess the first one, but could maybe be a tail detail? Although actually, unusual for most traditional kaiju, the Godman characters seldom have tails (I am guessing from the more fighting/action-oriented style of the show, versus the giant monster/city stomping themes). Regardless though, I cannot but be excited for this trend. Godman has some of the most creative and unusual kaiju around (right up there with Barom-1 in my opinion), not to mention some complete classics. If we got a Buta Gorosaurus from this line, that would be pretty darn cool, but you know (if you know me) a Sanda/Gaira pairing would likely have me passing out from glee. But I am super happy to have releases* like these of unusual monsters from the show gracing our universe.** Much, much love for the underappreciated kaiju of these shows.

    * well not actually have, since I cannot land any it seems :( , but at least enjoy the existence of

** please, just have them more easily available, pretty please?

adding to the wishes *I would love to see Butanohana interpretations from SSSS.Gridman or even original Gridman. We did get Ultraman Belial so there's a teeny tiny chance maybe.. but not likely.

That is just..... fantastic. I was actually expecting maybe a Trunker might appear, but actually Ghoston makes me even happier I think. I am still not actually sure which episode the first guy appeared in, but he is equally wonderful. All three of these sculpts are such a delight; I love the monster characters and Oohashii-san did them complete justice in his usual style. I am really sorry though that this is [yet another] festival only release. I know I keep lamenting over the same thing these days, but honestly it is already so difficult with Butanohana toys, this move to event exclusives (almost exclusively) over the last few years, is only adding to the limitation and demand-building which we already face. Gorgeous toy release, but I fear another one which will be inaccessible (to myself at any rate).

Those sculpts look cool, but is there no articulation at the shoulders?

So far all three Godman sets of triple figures only articulate at the head.

Oh, very true, I completely missed it at first... My pet peeve is the lack of articulation. Makes toys very much like just groovy sculptures.

Need to do some reading on the human show!

Edit: Oh I know that show! I didn't know there was toho overlap with the costumes!
