Crash Dummies 2003 Mattel, found him at a boot sale for a quid. I have another one i found a while ago but i think he's an older line.
14" Walking Robot for a couple of quid in a charity shop. I would guess 1990's. The closest i could find online is called 'Robot Leader' but was made of more modern looking materials.
Another vintage tin pencil sharpener to go with my Pepsi one. These were made in W. Germany. 50p at the same market as above.
Pretty much the same spec as your average Choro-Q / Penny Racer, but a knock-off. 20p at a boot sale.
Small little Megazord in a kind of Keshi style rubber with articulated arms. Playmates / Tsuburaya 1994. 50p at a boot sale. Edit: Its from Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad . . . silly me.
Star-Lord finger puppet for 50p at a boot sale. Really nice this one. I assume this is a bootleg (considering there is 'china' on the leg) of Ultra Seven maybe? This is about 3" high and looks and feels similar to keshi figures but a bit more rigid. 20p at boot sale!
Topps / Steve Jackson 2014. All the game pieces are there. I think the only thing missing is a slipcase for the deck of cards. Still, very good for £1.50 in a charity shop.
Q Robogogo-chan Kit (Takara 1984) i bought on the weekend from the boot sale. No box, but its complete other than that, including all the decals.
This thread really belongs to you Moog. It should probably be renamed as Garage Sales is far too general title for this thread
@666doll @chimply.kaiju Cheers, haha. I'm sure I'm not the only one on this board finding s/h stuff out and about, but I do seem to be the only one obsessively documenting it on this thread. I just got into the habit I suppose!
ARCO Robot Zone figure for 50p at a boot sale. Vintage McDonalds pen top/holder. 1980 version from the Malvern flea market for 50p. Here he is with the Officer BIg Mac i found a few years ago.
Boot sale buy for 50p. Its a 1950's submarine toy that used to have a tube attached, and you would blow and suck to make it dive and rise. I'm pretty sure i had a slightly more modern version of this toy when i was a kid. I love the design and finish on this bad boy. Here's a photo of one with the box and tube, and a deep sea diver with the same tube-type action.
Giving me flashbacks of the plastic 90's versions in cereal boxes that you would fill with baking soda so they would bob up and down in the water.
Some charity shop buys for a few pence. SMIGGLE Swamp monster and three pencil cases / pouches. The Monster makes fart noises when you push the button. It sounds to me like they used the same sound chip from the Minions fart gun! [/url]
