Hi again SB

I could’ve slid back in through the backdoor and lurked but thought I’d share. A few months back I was on the board as usual reading threads and I'd answered on Lixx's thread. I was contacted by kichigai with some bad news. He told me Lixx had passed away the night before. I was shocked...I didn't know what to do....I replied back to kichigai and immediately logged off.
With a heavy heart days and weeks went by and I just couldn't log back in.
Fast forward to 2 days ago and I receive a toy in the mail. A deal that had fallen through the cracks with Rich MVH, had appeared and was stoked that Rich had come through. Even though it had taken a while, he was true to his word. And this new toy was cool as. I wanted to share this big lump of vinyl with others that would appreciate it (well most; ) And where else other than SB?...The place I'd spent untold late nights reading threads, enjoying pics and even arguing. But I hadn't been back in so long. The very next day I'm idly swishing down IG and up comes an MVH post about his new Medicom project...with jackets...and wouldn't you know it I see the name Lixx next to one, I was taken aback and read it again Lixx. I put the phone down and muttered to myself.. Well it's gotta be for Lixx and was stoked that Lixx was getting some kind of due, and from Rich whom I'd just received the toy. Ok that was it I had to break the spell and get back to SB. I'd missed too many threads I just needed to log back in and see what up and show my new toy: )

That reminds me of the time Lixx got annoyed with people using his images so he removed every one from SB lol.
And respect to Lixx, Rich, kichigai and the rest of the brainers. It’s good to be back..now I’m off to the worst toy and look what I got in the mail thread

Love the subtle paint apps, the unpainted vinyl shows off the sculpt details. The red eyes, white teeth and toes really pop. Really works that one.

Lixx probably had better taste in sofubi than all of us, I always enjoyed his posts very much. His collection photos never ceased to inform or delight.

He sent me quite a few wry PM's over the years, the bloke had a great sense of humour!

 

I’m confused, didn’t know Rich named the toy after him.

 

So the mascots name is "Lixx" as in the SB member and also the similarities between Felix the Cat right?

 

Wait.. according to comments on the MVH Instagram the working name was Lixx and has been changed to Lash. Should have kept it as Lixx.. cool little tribute

 

That’s where I’m confused, I don’t think Rich called it Lixx in tribute to him. Apologies if I’m wrong but I don’t remember ever seeing that.

I only briefly saw the post. But it was a jacket, with Lixx below it...a bit like the post above. So no it's not the figure itself but a jacket.

Yeah Moog, an awesome simple paint on an excellent vinyl colour. And a great chunky feel to it.
