That's true but why dumb her down and make her look ugly? Is this the norm were trying to push with super heroes now? It litteraly looks like a man in drag. I'm curious to see how they made the other characters look.

Its far from the "you ruined my childhood approach". But again if they keep voltron character designs good why does this one have to look so far left wing?

 

@Headhunter, I don't intend to watch this cartoon, as I have little interest/nostalgia in this character. My GUESS is that they are aiming, not for the nostalgic crowd, but for actual young girls (and boys). If it were made more to adult audiences, then I believe they probably would keep more in line with the original design.

 

Don’t care about the show, but I think it looks cool, kind of like Studio Ghibli characters that aren’t really sexualized. I’ve looked at other pics and she looks more feminine. Don’t get why she needs giant heaving breasts other than for the older crowd to beat it to. I also thought she was supposed to be younger in this version.

First of all in the show she is a kid along with most of the other characters so the need for boobs is non-existent.



Secondly she finds a power sword in the same vein as He-Man that transforms her into a mythical warrior which is why she looks entirely different when she is transformed.



I have no idea if they show will be great or fucking awful but the size of the main characters breasts and the fact she wears biker shorts under her skirt will have nothing to do with it. I don't think it's "left wing" to make the main character look like the kids the show is being made for. Same way I don't think it would be right wing to slap big breasts on a kid in a cartoon. It would just be stupid.

 

New She-Ra looks great and for the record, if you take time to watch the promo reel on Youtube, the new Thundercats looks fucking awesome as well. Go ahead and sue me

Also even though it's called sucking, generally (hopefully) there's no crazy turbo-charged vacuum action going on in the act.. to me that box illustration just looks like a bird enjoying chocolate flavoured milk at the bottom of a cereal bowl

Well, I did finally win at great pain. Titanis was the last buta dino series that I didn't have a representative of. Now I will have to stay home for a week to scare off the porch pirates. "Shoo, shoo", I will say. "Shoo, shoo". Big f word to porch pirates.

I suggest the giant sized @ 132 pounds. At the going rate for hard-to-find butas these days, it's worth the investment Puppies of the giant kind are $1800-ish (going by the latest JYA auctions, that's 3 - 9 buta figures, considering a blue Bakkey went for $600-ish last week!).
Unfortunately Henry and Emma have banned me from even thinking about getting a pair, but I would really love to!

Wow holy crap fuck Spanish customs! Just sent some blank toys over to someone in Spain just because and they ended up having to pay $45 to pick it up. Ouch.

There are some great kids' books about a Rottie named "Good Dog Carl". No words, just pictures. My kinda storytellin'... Nice puppy! Sadly, we have a jealous corgi and 2 kittiez, not security material, sadly.

 

If I wasn't working weird night hours and camping out at the office, then I'd definitely get two GIANT dogs! Either rotties or Newfies or Great Pyrenees or Caucasian Shepards





I've always LOVED giant dogs (and cats ), but you really have to have time to play with them and exercise them (and lovingly wipe their eyes and slobbers ), otherwise it's not fair to keep them.

 

Acreage is good too, especially for the shepherds who like to have a whole clan living on individual hills and mountains. They are actually smart enough to set a bait trap in order to keep the wolf population away from their sheep. Corgis like sheep too, but they're not *that* good. All those big babies are pretty loveable!

 

I literally live right across the street from a park. Although I would love to have a small farm with critters and horses, the park is big enough to run dogs too. I started off as a dog person (I still love both dogs and cats)--a large German Shepard and gentle black lab "adopted" me when I was little. The shepard leaped over the fence, and the lab squeezed through the fence slabs to play with me everyday. My Mom wouldn't let me have fur-bearing creatures for pets, so I "borrowed" my neighbors pets (or should I say, they borrowed me! )

Henry and Emma are frowning mightily!

 

To the asshat(s) that broke into our cars last night. I really hope you were severely disappointed by the lack of stuff I keep in my personal vehicle. Enjoy those floss picks and packets of biofreeze you loser.

 

International folks have to pay VAT but have their healthcare covered 100%.. Boo hoo..
