Your taste is unpeckable, my hirsute friend. In Eiji we trust.

EDIT: Added the relevant image. I so hate that with this newer platform you can't tell when a page-flip has occurred until well after the fact. Boo.

My first vintage monster. Been after a Bandai Alien Tigris for years. Paint is superb no rubs.

Great score @Lixx Chris, for a long time I had seen one in the Mandarake in very good condition and for decent price, is it the same or did you take it in another place?
I really like the expression on his face...:D

Yeah I got it from Mandarake Grand Chaos. There was another but it looked a little worn for the same price.

His expression always reminds me of Private Pyle’s crazed face in the bathroom scene of Full Metal Jacket.

Just a Triceratops, methinks. One of the Nakajiima wind up dinos I believe.

    Nice pickup Grace!

Some great pick ups! I would say that spinosaurus is definitely unique, it took me a while to find one. Love the bullmark minis also, especially the pagos. Im on the hunt for one now.

^^^Stevie, that is an especially nice Spinosaurus too!

p.s. Stevie, Michael is correct, it is a Tricey Nakajima windup toy. I have a weakness for nice windup toys! Daniel posted a pic of three his has. I still have to find the other two! Thanks for the nice comments, and yes, Tricey is super duper cute! :)

Good friend, indeed! Excellent ghidorah, and the paint looks just perfect under the bag.

New parcel arrived today, don't know too much about the Dinos but loved the sculpts, can see they have the Miura stamp on the feet but guessing they are repro, anyone know roughly when they were reproduced?

Love the glider wings in the frame. What a neat way to display them.
The Miura "dinos" are not repros. They are vintage. I believe they date to the early-mid 1970s.

Well I finally found the last Redman I needed, which I've never even seen come up for sale. I was having trouble sleeping and just happened to grab my iPad to check Mandarake at 2am sure enough he's there- and not a bad price for Bandai Giant Heroes. Finally I have one with a mask! My other two don't have masks.

I think I'm just going to leave the mask on for now his face is a bit dirty and I'm not sure if its scapes from putting the mask on or off, or actual dirt.

Ah the [no so] long, tortuous wait is over at last! Stoked to finally see some pics of him in his new home.

Superb, Chris, but I don't need to tell you that. A score many years in the making, as we well know. He was a worthy buy, and I am really happy that you managed to snag him at just the right moment. He will look wonderful in your hero shelf, and I know you will get loads of enjoyment out of having adopted him. A fantastic grail checked off for a worthy vintage collector; many kudos and congratulations! :) I'll have to keep on my own hunting, but I am getting that much more excited for a visit to your vinyl palace.

In short, he is a hefty piece of lovely vinyl, and there are few collections out there I think he will be as welcome in.
