I'm at 84 caught, 84 seen. I'm holding off on a lot of evolutions until I find a Pokemon with an IV score above 75%. Got a lot of stinkers... Someone said that you have to be level 25 until you start having a chance at catching "perfect" Pokemon, so I'm a bit far from that. 20, almost 21 here.
I've noticed that starter pokemon are harder to catch and they almost always get out of regular balls even at 50CP!
You would figure that the higher your level the easier it would be to catch them all. But it turns out the higher your level the easier they run away. Even when using a raspberry and an ultraball on a level 400 Squirtle.
I wasted 10 pokeballs on a level 32 weedle the other day. I was so bored and it was the only thing around I'm taking a break from it start of September while my husband is in Dallas, so he can catch there for a week and see if we get anything cool/new.
There are lots of good Pokemon here in Dallas! Tell him to go to the Dallas Arboretum and Dallas Zoo. Lots of water pokemon and pikachus. There is a lake close by that has a lot of magikarp and dratini also!

went from having no snorlax to catching 2 in a day. I read somewhere that niantic recently increased spawn rates for rarer pokemon. don't know if there is any truth to that. still at 0 dratinis though.
^^ Would believe it. Had been after a Scyther all along, and finally got one yesterday. Also saw Electabuzz on the nearby, but didn't try to find as I caught one previously.
123 in now and things are slowing down.... Hopefully the new beta nearby tracking will be implemented worldwide soon. With so few to go it's frustrating when they show up but you don't know where.
Yep, saved them for a lucky egg and jumped from level 20 to 21. The heat and humidity has really gotten in the way of me playing lately. 90 but feels like 108? No thanks.
I am definitely serious. A lot of legit players who don't bot or gps spoof are getting banned because of this. Phil, IV is individual value. You can check each mons attack, defense and stamina. Some Pokemon are better than others. And people are using this info to their advantage and holding down gyms for very long times. It is also against Niantics terms of agreement because the sites that are offering this service are skimming the data from Niantics servers.

Is the ban happening because they scan your account's info to pull all IV's? I've used poke assistant before. Not as accurate or fast but it gives you a pretty good estimate. Plus it gives you an idea of evolution CP as well.
The bans are happening for people who downloaded apps that scan your screen and give you an IV value. Manual calculators where you actually have to input the info yourself are still fine to use, just as long as you don't use any overlays, screen scanners, anything that pulls data from Niantic.
Anyone know if the spawns changed again? i just got a 1040 CP Weepinbell at my desk instead of the usual daily magmar.
