Bringing this back to the top. Binged watched the entire season this week. Started the first 5 episodes while I fasted and did nothing on Yom Kippur and just finished the finale about An hour ago. What an insanely wonderful show! So many parts reminded me of breaking bad. Elliot getting out of life or death situations had Walter white images in the back of my mind. Evil geniuses. The music, whether it be the score or soundtrack really made the show. Perfect in exactly the right places throughout. Spoiler I wasn't all that surprised to see the fight club like twist. I thought of that from episode one so I wasn't mind blown but I appreciated how it all came together. I can't wait till season two but I just hope it holds a candle to the first season I never knew USA had good programming! I'm guessing this is their only well written show.
For those of you with Time Warner, there are some really cool interviews and recaps from season 1 on demand. There was also a full hour special the other day on USA which may be available to watch before starting on Season 2 tonight! Set those DVRs! #fsociety
First Episode of Season 2.0 was great! I am so happy this show is back and looks to be as good and exciting as the first season. I also cant believe USA is now allowing F-Bombs! Must have been at least 4 thrown in the premier episode. Spoiler Elliot going insane toward the end of the episode was so good! Rami Malek acted his ass off in that scene!
I check in from time to time to see if his eyes have popped out of his head yet but outside of that I wasn't able to get into this show for some reason
^^^ hmmm, I was proud of this station for using a non average handsome, different looks guy for the star roll. So far felt they were trying to hard. Season 1 felt more natural. Maybe next week will smooth out a bit.
Anybody else feel like this second season is all over the place and doesn't have the focus or momentum the first season had? Please don't use the "maybe the episodes are as scattered as Elliott" excuse.. Four episodes in to this new season and it's really not grabbing my attention anymore.
Yeah, this season feels way different and has no focus yet. Having a hard time getting locked in like I did last season.
Season 2.0 has definitely started slow (with a few exciting bits thrown in) but I have hopes that after last night's finale scene the show will grow legs like it did from the very beginning. Most of the episiode was snoozy but I like where I think the show is going... and that is a very dark place!
Now that's what I'm talking about! Best episide of the season so far! It's getting really dark really fast. Next week can't get here fast enough
First 15 minutes had me dying. Still wondering why it took 4 episodes for the shows momentum to return. Love where it's going though
Anybody else still paying attention? I'm rather excited to see if they stick the landing for the season tonight.
too many plot holes and questions unanswered. I liked the finale but it didn't compare to last season. The whole season was up and down. Overall I liked it and am curious where the show goes from here but the season didn't hold my attention nearly as much as the first season. There was way too much going on which is probably why there is so much that was left unanswered and unresolved
