Ha. Nice one That jiggler is incredible. I didn't know anyone cared enough to make any these days. It's nice to see. Jigglers are such fun toys. I've never seen one so big, unless you count spider legs or bat wings. I want. They can be difficult when displaying though, especially the flat ones, and I don't see a string to hang him. If you take him out of the packaging, be sure to keep it all as mint as possible, cause it's the perfect showcase.
I am very grateful to be able to have this Grail in my collection after all these years. In case you want to ask, no this is not the one from YJ few months ago but is from another collector that I know locally. Here it is , THE YONEZAWA RED BARON .
2015 was an awesome year for my collection. I tried to take pics of everything and post to my IG but at times I couldn't even keep up. Really tough to choose but I think "Score Of The Year" has to go to this custom Yamomark Isopod Man by Bwana.
2015 was a pretty insane year for me toy wise and I picked up a lot of treasures. Rather than post some of the usual suspects, I thought I would go with the GFO. A super fun toy with a super affordable price point. It's probably not my favorite of the year, but it is hands down the most fun. It was one of my top DCON wants I was overjoyed when my turn came and one was available. Thanks Paul!
If you EVer do,.. you know where to find me And before anyone else interested in the Big Ugly Jigglers (ref. Mwlody's last post) looks into purchasing one, know that they're all sold out for now. Grumble grumble. His store's still worth checking out to see the various versions thatve been released so far. My favorite is the Gillman... Oh well, that's one more instagram account to add to the list .
The GFO has got to be one of if not the coolest release of 2015! Absolutley love all of the ones I have seen thus far, they look so fun to play with! Congrats on scoring that beauty.
This Tetsujin 28 by Nostalgic Heroes is my pick, not only for the gorgeous sculpt and how well it's made, but for how I acquired him: bagged, buried beneath random stuff in a glass case, in a toy shop inside a random antique mall. The seller was a pleasure to deal with and gave me a sweet discount. Runner~up: Spoiler As I am fascinated with giant monuments depicting humans or creatures, this Prince Gil by Bullmark is hauntingly beautiful for me and now one of my top favorites in the collection. I also acquired this toy in a really cool way; I got to visit the most awesome XVivaHateX (thank you!) to pick it up and saw one of the most beautiful collections of vintage sofubi ever.
Great to see everyone is having an excellent 2015. I am definitely jealous on a lot of your scores. Sam was truly a huge score for me. Won it in 2014, but Rich didn't ship them out until January 2015. I also was lucky enough to get in on the summer 2015 MVH SB DX release. But since that won't be out until 2016, I guess I will count that as a 2016 score of the year, lol. Flap! Flap! Flying in to my home. Another huge score for me for 2015. My second Mockbat. Hopefully I will have an infestation of these critters in the future. Son of Godzilla was probably my least favorite Showa Godzilla film. But this scene was always memorable to me as a child. Love this snow globe. Released by the late Godzilla Director Koichi Kawakita company Dream Planet Japan. Made by the famous Austria snow globe company Prezy. The BEST marble version! (Apologies if you think you have the best marble version, you don't. ). Awesome little gorilla. Love the color on this guy. The header card is definitely the best of 2016. After a few years of fishing in the sea, I finally caught one. Definitely a highlight of 2015. Seen this in a shop on a trip in Tokyo Japan over a decade ago. Always kicked myself for not grabbing it. I have kept this in the back of my mind for many years. Many thanks to Sean Linkenback for kindly setting this aside for me to buy.
