Re: Anraku Photos! I think they look quite charming; like forgotten celluloid toys from a disbanded Republic.
Re: Anraku Photos! This happened to me too. Now I need to figure out which to get. They're so radically different I could justify both but I'm not sure I should.
Re: Anraku Photos! Painted paw pads! What's not to love? My name is David and I am an MS Paint addict. Side-by-side pr0n for a) aiding those that are trying to choose between them, and b.) posterity.
Re: Anraku Photos! 100% going for the Panda! Just waiting for them to show up at Lulu or TAG. Or Roto. Or somewhere.

Re: Anraku Photos! this new Goga blows that last two out of the water! clear with guts for the win! and glad to see the guerilla punch (and glutamine) is getting a release, wonder what else will come out next.
Re: Anraku Photos! I got really excited and said to myself "Glad I held off of the first Goga offerings because this one is stunning, knew there would be more!" Then I looked at the price tag- 27000 yen!
Re: Anraku Photos! I am on the fence on whether to get one. Now if they added his nuts there would have been no questions on me getting one. Very exciting stuff new preorders coming up. I order 1 of the prior Goga and I most certainly will get this next Goga beauty. The only thing I really want to know is when they will release a Drunk Boy?!!
Re: Anraku Photos! Glad I held out on the first two Gogas, the pink one is a must get!! Gorgeous colorway.
Re: Anraku Photos! That Goga is gorgeous. It's Gogorgous Here's hoping I can make those dollars work. Ha, and you win an award for the first time a sentence has ever been spoken before.
Re: Anraku Photos! Question for the CIBOTL crew, did the Venus Gorillas & Glutamine come as painted pairs? It looks like they have always been painted pairs in the past. I really like both these new guys but I almost feel ripped off that we are not seeing them as a painted set.
Re: Anraku Photos! I was never on CIBOTL, but yeah or at least cast in the same color vinyl. Not a fan of the new Gorilla, but with the new Goga...I don't care! Chris, the painted guts I have cost $70 each and I guess that's why the price is higher.
Re: Anraku Photos! Glenn, I have loose yellow, GID and blue Goga guts I will post for you when I am back home from work travel. Remind me if I forget. The new Glut is pretty cool, Jared is right they should have matched the Gorilla Punch. A Punch in those colors would've been groovy. That red Gorilla Punch is the worst colorway made by far. New guts Goga is bangin'! They got it right with that one! Amazing times for AA collectors...keep em' coming.
Re: Anraku Photos! I'll try and take a picture this weekend for you if no one else has a pic of the blue ones saved.
Re: Anraku Photos! Looks like this Glutamine is the header version, so wouldn't those eyes be correct?
Re: Anraku Photos! so far none of that new medicom stuff did much to me. did medicom buy the rights from anraku??? doesnt look like anraku maker has much to do with this any longer. first exclusive pathetic lists now selling out. wtf.
Re: Anraku Photos! The one-off is more like the header Not sure about those lashes either! Looks like they're trying to match Glutamine with the Panda? Shame Anraku's style has gone now Medicom are in the driving seat. Maybe the other half of each pair will follow later...
Re: Anraku Photos! The Glutamine & Gorilla don't do much for me either, but considering the interesting use of rubs on this latest batch and other weird little touches like the golden "nipples" on the Goga I highly doubt Medicom is just slapping paint on Anraku sculpts.
Re: Anraku Photos! There is no pleasing some people I guess. Cheap and easily available AA is pretty fucking cool in my book. Don't really see how AA is a "sellout". Everyone complains about scarcity and/or exclusivity but doesn't want anything to do with the toys when they become widely available. How else would AA make his toys widely available at affordable prices without the backing of someone like Medicom? It just wouldn't happen otherwise.
