So where are all the photos guys and gals? I know some of you are there taking in the glory. I always appreciate seeing pics if you snap them, of toys, booths, costumers, 'brainers, swag, eats....whatever. And if not, just tell us how it is all going. For those of us who can't make it to these Cons, we need to live precariously through you! Many thanks in advance for sharing.
I didn't make it this year. But It threw me off today to see ESPN covering comic con! Crazy how much this con has changed over the years!
Everything is on IG, nobody takes the time to post pics here anymore, I might post some after PK sale tonight
thats the sad bitter truth and why i give up caring last thing i need is 1000's of seflies and zero toys
Oh well that is a shame. Not all of us are all up over social media and whatnot. I don't have any problem with IG, or similar venues, but I come to SB for proper interaction with real people. To have conversations and learn things, beyond just instant stimulation. But if IG can take away the meaningless posts, +1s, self congratulatory and bragging pics, hypechasers, etc., from the board, then I am all for that.
Yeah, that'll be great, thanks. Remind me of all the amazing shit I'll never have, you're a swell guy.
Your best bet for browsing SDCC sofubi photos: http://ink361.com/app/tag/sofubi (And I link this third-party site instead of instagram.com because the official site doesn't let you copy/paste/save images. Stingy assholes want you to download the app)
Ha, didn't even realize there was an Insta button! Still, can't right-click save on Instagram.com... That annoys the bejeezus out of me. aaaand I just checked out Instagram.com and I can't find a search bar... I just don't know anymore. Anyway, I've derailed this enough. Back to SDCC photos.
These turned out great. #mastersoftheuniverse #skeletor #super7 #super7store #sdcc2015 #motu #evillordofdestruction #skeletorslair Thanks Alan! by revolux, on Flickr Those are some huge toys! at #SkeletorsLair #sdcc #mastersoftheuniverse #super7 #heman by Jennifer Okumura, on Flickr
I don't think IG can be held wholly responsible . . . pickings seemed real slim! SDCC has pretty much fucked itself!
No IG here. I've started putting together my SDCC reports. First off is my interview with Brian Flynn:
Damn, those Skeletors sure do look hefty. Blister packed like that is just crying to be ripped open! I espy some classic MOTU figures too(looks like a Snakemen/Horder grouping) in the display, very cool. EDIT: Thanks for sharing the vid Andy, nice coverage. Maybe I missed it, but what was the deal with the Alien? It looks like it could possibly be even larger than the the '79 Kenner Big Chap. But either way, to get a repro (ideally slightly different) version would be just great. I don't know why I didn't hear about this, to me this seems like it is the highlight of SDCC so far!
ill be adding pics soon from sdcc once photbucket gets done uploading. i have like 200 pics but gotta weed out the non sb interest stuff.
