I'm thinking not many, but I have no clue. I think the gf likes the booska one best. The fun vibe of the figures is what she gets a kick out of. Me too!
My modest collection is very slowly improving. [imgwidth=]christmas additions by edrickaiju, on Flickr[/imgwidth]
Here's my current set up: literally toys in the cold attic. two trash bags of marked risers by shelf (1,2,3 etc etc) Here's where they are going as soon as the detolfs make it over from apartment. A little worried about that heating vent but when closed there is barely a breeze, and it's not really warm at all as it drifts up. Besides the detolfs aren't flush on the wall anyhow. I don't care about being cold as I hate a hot room: My man cave is like a square bunker so not much room to squeeze 4 detolfs in, no way I can let those records warp so they went to the other side (yes that window and the other one have shades!):
Chris!! I cant quite imagine how much work it will be to get your collection set back up.. Hands down the best stuffed detolf's on SB You might need a bottle of Gin and a whole day for that job. Best of luck with the new space!
Damn, man - that attic looks like it has potential (and more space)! Why not just establish that as your man-(elevated)cave?
Pffttt after all the work I've done moving that should be a piece of cake. I did take pictures of each shelf with toys and then again without toys and just the risers so I'd remember how they fit in. Then I took a marker and labeled each of the risers in the shelf with a 1 through 16 number so I'd remember which go where. Yeah but moving has killed me. The only things left in our apt are the big things like beds, couch, detolfs, coffee table etc. Everything has been moved by my old Camry and Kim's Subaru Forester. My fitbit says I've been burning 3500+ calories daily, doing an average of 75 flights of stairs, 20000 steps. I'm hurting! Gin sounds so nice Don't give Kim any ideas! I'll have to test it out in the middle of the summer to see how hot it gets. It's just unfinished hardwood floors in the middle and the sides are the normal "you can't walk on these planks because it's all insulation underneath" areas. I love this house though. After living in tiny apartments for the last 25 years of my life I feel weird in a house. I keep walking around exploring saying to myself "Woah haven't been down there yet!" or "Let me go hang in that room!". Oh well off to shovel my driveway and tell these kids get off my lawn!
Current setup in a tiny bookcase.. the majority of my collection is living in storage containers for now, a lot of the larger pieces just don't fit anywhere at the moment (at least they will be dust free until I get some proper Detolfs!)
well, it's not a crazy elaborate collection like you guys have, but I really love my little crew. They look down on me above my drawing desk & provide inspiration (& distraction - I should be coloring pages right now!) ^^ You have a very unique collection going on there . . . . it looks really impressive! Nice shelves too, adds to the overall coolness.
hahah hahah That's the original VHS case for TABOO 2, which is amazing, weird, creepy... and one of the first "blue" movies I ever saw as a youngin'. I thought it made a great backdrop for the Ouch Twins there.
I got the giraffes from the dollar section at Target! The plan was to mash & paint them up for my nieces, but right now it's yet another project on hold...
A few things still havent hit the display but pretty much everything... sorry the pic isnt the greatest.
