I hope he posts a shot with better lighting, but here's a custom M1Go Matango I received from Toph today. My picture doesn't do this trippy Matango justice; the silver works really well with the pearlescent magenta and blue, and the eyes are dead black pits, burned from staring into infinity. Or something. In any case, I'm absolutely thrilled with how he transformed a dirty blank yellow Matango into something far more bizarre.
Thanks for having me paint it, i was really happy with how the different pearl, opaque, and metallic paints looked mixed up on him.
I have a unpainted Yellow Matango and was thinking I would never paint it or have it painted because the yellow looks good to me but that paint job makes the figure look Amazing !!!!!!
Recently painted this 3D printed "Ashurashine" Keshi figure from Brownnoize productions for a board member. (Blue/green one is not painted) Pretty inspiring how good the resolution has gotten on these prints. This material is a very flexible plastic.
You killed it with the Ashurashine! close ups of the rest of the family Spoiler Hedorah also painted by Topher!
The figure was totally clear. I used a GID tinted paint on the inside, worked out great. Gero is a perfect candidate for a real factory double pour IMO.
Recently completed 30 Sleepwalker Nimbus figures to be sold through the http://kurobokan.bigcartel.com/ web shop, at the end of December.
^ Yeah, I think the blue one might be my favorite as well. Super sweet! At first I was all about the "rainbow" one, but I'm starting to sway... I like the details of the face better in blue, at least in this photo.
Thanks, both you guys. The blue has a ton of micro-pearl on the face, really bringing out the details. The tricolor fade "rainbow" version has a pink interference pearl on the chest and nose, super hard to photograph. On the Red/Orange version its muzzle is painted with a candy purple (also hard to photograph) makes him look like he has a hipster mustache
Lucky enough to have the chance to paint "SpaceMan" and "Violent Beast" from the new Lulubell monsters line. Really great figures, so cool how they came uncut like an old model figure kit.
