^This. Although to be honest, most of them belong to my wife. Please refer to page 51 of the mockshock handbook(aka this thread). That said I have not won a PK lottery ever.
I'm joining that no "PK lotto wins" club with you, animator. That said, it will be that much better when luck does strike for us. Great releases, can't wait to see the photos from all of these.
Hoooooooly shit, I've seen those floatin' around. Didn't know they were your collection! Fantastic stuff! I got my first 'Bat at the Gunnzo show this year, which also happened to be a chase. My only other 'Bat I got hooked up by a member here, and graciously I might add. Gotta say, gettin' one firsthand from Paul was pretty rad, though.
Kinda surprised no one else posted photos of these here. My focus was kinda...not there. My apologies for that. Spoiler
So from people that actually got to see these two-headed bats up close... Were they a new vinyl sculpt for the head(s) and body, a mixture of a x-acto knife and some sculpey, resin, or something else?
No new molds, all custom work but i heard through the grapevine that he may try to turn it into a production mold
These looked great and I heard the same about them becoming a production piece later on. The work on these is great. I just love how much great stuff Paul puts out and the toys are still super fresh. Love collecting his stuff and even more waiting to see what crazy thing he comes up with next.
Olfa blade, ear wax, and chewing gum. There you go. Yes, I am currently, by absolute POPULAR demand, contemplating the steps to MAKING Mockbat X2 a reality.
Curse those goddamn Olfa Blades... Lookin' forward to potential updates on this project, Paul. They came out immaculate.
Yeah yeah, we know the 2 headed bats were amazing, but lets take a moment to appreciate the DCON run from Sunday Slightly reminds me of the original Boss color way. Love this bat, and the hellmock walker is such a great accessory.
Holy shit, I hadn't even thought to replace the belly with the chained piece. Good call, Kevin! And these photos are just fuckin' great. I'm still so new to all this that I can't recall the original Mockbat colorway, so I'll have to look that up. But I am in constant awe every time I see this guy on my shelf.
^ First vinyl bats were at a TAG show that a bunch of us camped out for. 1st release was Mockpocalypse lottery with lots of micro runs, 1 offs and the B&W bat run. So many great bats came out of that release.
Ohhhh, okay. I am familiar with the Mockpocalypse list. I've seen the images quite a few times, but didn't realize those were some of the first, and obviously some of the best. I appreciate the quick educational bump. It's a bummer not having gotten into toys as fantastic as these at their birth, but it's better late than never. And I am extremely appreciative of the few I've obtained.
"I was referring to the original Boss Carrion color way, from Comic Con. Just because of the blue and some gold." I'm still haunted by Mockpocalypse, what a great release.
Oh, geez. I read so fast that I saw 'Bat instead of Boss somehow. That's my mistake. I can absolutely see the correlation, though.
Great idea (and pic)! The chain mod brilliance takes on a whole new level. Hellmock getting some good exercise walking all the "pets" around
