^^^^ ... man i just can't buy 2nd hand plush. Creeps the hell out of me. WERE HAS IT BEEEN! That said if it's 2nd hand new it's all good.
^^ Nah, they're called 'Monsters vs Zombies' . . . i think they were released about a year ago. I'm annoyed i did'nt know about them back then because i'd love the whole set . . . they're no longer in shops where i live anymore. They do look a bit Scooby-doo dont they . . . .
Found this one for 50p. Its from a set of GID Zombie mini figures by 'Accoutrements'. The seller had no idea what it was or where they got it from. Only 40mm high . . . pretty cool
Boot-sale. 50p each, two different sellers. Never seen this type of Boglin water squirter before . . . it doesn't have any makers marks, so no idea if its a bootleg or official. I'd like some more! Boglin finger puppet GID Shark squirter ball
Very creepy, but cool. I quite like how his hands are tucked into his tunic; makes it that much more mysterious and interesting - not at all like a typical toy one would expect. You get the sense the designer really had a character in mind when he created this fellow.
Jeez, you just had to go there David. They are clearly resting on his jolly stomach in bunny hug-through pocket fashion, but whatever. I don't know what type of clowns were around you as a child, but evidently they were very well endowed. If anything, I would be more concerned by the overall shape and proportions of this toy. Okay, I just have to stop now.
Oh! we've debauched what was such an innocent and fun thread. I apologise to Joe and all the readers.
^^ No worries, ever since reading Viz and Finbarr Saunders back in the day . . . i have a great appreciation for double entendres and smutty comments!
More boot-sale plunder. This is apparently cut from a vinyl seat cover for a tuk-tuk . . . . cost me £1. Pretty sweet Set of flocked mini Labbits . . . £1.50
... went op shopping today MAINLY for new house stuff. Was blown away when i saw an old Imperial dino sitting in the used toy section. Gave 'em all a clean when i got home, and my man thought the resulting scene was funny and snapped a pic: (Photo by The Meatkeeper - http://iconosquare.com/chrisbrimstone)
^^ haha This one is pretty old . . . 50's or 60's. 50p in the bargain-bin outside a Junk Shop. Gantoy Made in England. . . . . and Kozik set £1.50 from a boot-sale.
I really like this one . . . . vintage 'The Real Ghostbusters' toy from 1986. £2 at the usual boot-sale. They are both water squirters that stack together. The stacking function is a really cool little novelty!
Latest boot-sale plunder T.C. Home has informed me this is a Taiwanese bootleg E.T. He's around 5.5" tall . . . soft vinyl. 20p Gizmo keyring . . . ears a bit chewed. 20p Disco Snoopy 50p Dogtanian (on the left) 50p Devil Smurf 50p
^^ ha, thanks . . . and yeah, i really like the sculpt on the E.T. I'm always surprised when i pick up something great and the bored looking seller says in a really disinterested way . . . 20p? Some people have no idea! Not that i'm complaining, but very often people completely undervalue toys.
Gundam bootleg and little friend. Two different boot-sales 20p each. I have no idea what the little one is from . . .
