I get lot's of requests for more photo's of certain pieces and since I just finished attempting to thin out my shelves I thought I might share! Enjoy Nothing pictured is for sale! But I would be willing to trade the Maza, Goga, Solvi-Hedo and some Buta's for brighter color variations of the same sculpt.
Beautifully arranged, sir! I don't chase the majority of them that you've towered up there; but you make a fine argument for why I should! Happiest shelves I've seen since Connell last graced us with some snaps.
Nice collection. It seems you're partial towards a certain colour pallette, it looks very interesting (im a good way).
I love that Chibira is cuddling with Aghira, too cute, and I'll confess right here and now that seeing Amapro's Keeler on your shelf has me swimming in jelly!
Thanks David, you got a good eye for this stuff haha- yeah Axolotl, I've been making attempts at phasing out darker variations. When I eventually move I want to cram everything on a master shelf. The concept/title for my installation is 'technicolor kaiju vomit rainbow'. Almost there
Nice colorful collection D-No. You have to hand it to Ikea the tops of detolfs just scream bonus shelving.
My thanks, as I was one asking for more pics. Such a charming, trippy display. The play of colors looks truly inspired. Particularly drooling over Atom and Ookondoru. ლ(´◉❥◉`ლ)
Simply stunning collection D. What I love so much about it, is that there is so much sheer variety there in characters, styles, makers, and yet you can hardly notice from the group shots, they all just go together so well. Beautiful arrangement and fantastic toys. Great job on the collection and thanks for sharing the pics!
This is sincerely one of the best collections I've seen on skullbrain. It's the type of collection that makes me re-evaluate what my collection should focus on. I love it.
Le Merde is one of my fav resin artists and i am just dying in jealousy here from that shelf. Thank you for sharing!
WOW! Thanks guys for the kind words. It's been a ride toy collecting and for the last couple of years I've really just started loving the habit. I'm honing in on what I really enjoy and minimising multiple sculpts. And now I'm pretty sure I got the best monster aquarium on the block.
some serious heavy hitters in the mix, D! your buta collection is really something. stand outs for me are the buta astro boy (so jealous!), the tokyo maza (really big want of mine) and of course the buta spaceman. really love how your stuff is mostly a cohesive color pallet. Looks gorgeous without even taking a closer look at what all of the toys actually are. great work!!
