Sculpted by Ito Shigeaki this ceramic bottle is filled with 720 mls of wheat shochu. Limited to 3,000 pieces and selling for ¥10,500. http://choujugura.com/SHOP/10394.html I want one. O_O
I know Miles picked one of these up earlier this year. You can ask him how tasty it was. Definitely something you need a good Japan connection to import.
These are available in the States, I saw this one at Mitsuwa Market here in L.A., they retail for about $175-$200.
its not godzilla, but its a really cool sake container found at a local sushi restaurant- its their house sake because all the tables had empty jars with flowers in them. i think there was another label too- ill have to check back another time
I'm tempted to head over there this week and see if they still have them. I agree that it almost looks cooler with the head displayed separately. Not sure if it's worth the price tag, though.
wheat shochu will likely give you the atomic breath, as well. i can't understand why japanese shochu is usually so rough...everything else they make is so mellow.
That looks incredibly stunning; it looks like Art of Toys in San Francisco is selling it, but they want $698.
