End of an Ear down on south 1st street is the best record store in Austin (in my opinion, biased because I work there one day a week). Tons of vinyl, in every genre I can think of. Timmy (who puts on Chaos every year) also works there a couple days a week.

We have a decent amount of local beer. Austin Beerworks Fire Eagle IPA is delicious. Hops and Grains Zoe Lager is the shit. Live Oak brewing is the oldest small brewery in Austin, their hefe-wiezen is delicious. 512 Brewery is on tap only, their Pecan Porter is amazing. I'm also a bartender, so there's that.

It's hot enough to swim here already, Deep Eddy and Barton Springs are great places to cool off.

There is a ridiculous level of food here, nearly anything you want, someone's making it somewhere. You can buy it and eat it. Don't be afraid of the taco truck.

This festival is totally fun, I've been going since it started. Keep an ear out for after-parties and bridge-shows.

    Hope I'm not too late!
