Damn that thing is huge. I see a dorol in the pic so that's the only thing I own to gauge how massive it is!
This pic is so tempting !!! The owner of these items really scored the best among the series of U.S.Toys. I couldn't say U.S.Toys are hard to find but they have a good control of the quantities made. The old school look and feel really make it stand out from all other brands.
Yep, I have the blue spray one from 2007 that looks like the one six7777 picked up. One of my favorite pieces. The giant tail has three points of articulation show it has lots of play. Great when paired up with another monster of the same size with smaller pieces running for cover underneath. Or just standing around...
Nice one, Chris. I don't have a lot but it'll be great to do a group shot. Anyway, here's the latest GID King Joe.
Strangely I don't own any King Joe by anybody, might have to correct that one day. Choon have you see Chase's GID US Toys goodness in the 'favorite shelf' thread: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=26887&start=2800
nice kurumonz! Chase's GID's are nice I've got a mini eleking coming : ) new group shot when he arrives
Shit, I love King Joe, sadly, I don't have any either but that mini is fantastic. I used to have some crappy bandai vinyls of him.
Am I crazy, or did US Toys make a Flatwoods Monster at one time? I know about the Dream Rocket one, and the ones by David Horvath, but I could have sworn I saw a US Toys Flatwoods several years ago in a catalogue.
I want that Jirass!! *jealous*. I had a Takatoku Zaninga from Megaloman in 1983, it was the exact same color scheme. Years later, people would incorrectly label the figure as Jirass, because not many people knew the Megaloman Kaiju. That Jirass looks like a mini version of that Zaninga figure I lost many years ago. And I never see that Jirass on Ebay! Or Zaninga, for that matter. Here's a pic of that Zaninga on someone's flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/25036013@N03/5598909312/
US Toys are not as easy to score as one would expect. Don't think I've seen a Jirass or Red King pop up for the last few years. Here's an update of what I have. Thought I had a little bit more than the earlier post. Doh! And here's the pic of the Soap Bottle version of Ultraseven, Chris.
Thanks for the solo pic Choon, and you're right US TOYS are hard to come by. I think I was talking about this with someone before. It's not really that they're all that rare (although some are). It's more that they don't seem very popular so the secondary market (aka auctions/stores) are pretty dry. New releases are hard to get because no one carries them over here. When they do pop up they can be had cheaply (except the Giant size). Man remember when S7 and all the stores stateside had a ton of US TOYS? Doh!
Yeah, I recall those great mini-diorama sets just sitting on S7's site for some pretty long periods of time.
I remember picking up a boatload of them when S7 bought out US Toys back-stock a couple years ago. Mini-diorama sets? I don't remember those....
