Another view of this guy makes me want him even more. Love that the under side of his arms are also like tentacles.
Holy crap, had never noticed that. Insane attention to detail going on there. I hope this guy doesn't sit on my wants list forever.
In regards to Kaithunder. I'm with you on both counts. What is great about these sculpts, in my opinion, is the combination of crudeness and attention to detail. They aren't so crude that it negates the details, but they aren't too polished either.
That's definitely a great looking paint job, but it seems too similar to the original blue colorway. Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's the lighting...
That Kai Thunder sculpt is BadAss! What a gem, completely unexpected. Gnarly on so many levels, its a mutated shark of the toxic lagoon! I hope to acquire one when funds are replenished.
Just received him fresh from the sea today. There is some really nice light translucent pearl paint on top of other paints that cannot be seen by photos.
I know this is a lame thing to say, but I really like the presentation, and the Header. For some reason the header art reminds me of those really poorly drawn comics from the 80's, like anything from Pyramid Productions, (Barbaric Tales, Dark Visions) or Ace Comics:Atomic War. It's very simple, and I like that a lot.
Where O Where did you find this photo, and How O How, might I put my greasy mitts on this thing? It has instantly rocketed (haw) to the top of my list. any info is appreciated. But totally understand if those of you in the know need to manage the no. of hooks in the water.
