Truly awesome monkey god figure, roller, thingy, whatever. Very cool. Was this a WC store? We usually don't get stuff like that here in the midwest.... stock tends to roll more towards truck deodorizers and annoying sayings in fake needlepoint.
I bought a few Mexican robot toys from a flea market in town a few years back... they're similar to Japanese toys in a lot of ways and are always priced well. Here's a crazy light up robot a got for like $10. I love how his robot mask comes off to expose the human underneath. VIDEO:
Good ol' Chinese dollar store. One of the first of its kind in the region, i believe. From the $1 Buddha to the $100+ wood screen. Always on the lookout for an interesting piece to add to the collection. They do seem to get rarer each year. It's a bank. It's a lamp. It's a puppy. Bought it years ago at that same store.
