Thanks for the leads...I'll be doing a lot of research and getting on calendar. Excited to see your excitement and responses. More soon.
I went to 5 guys one time and was not impressed, I ordered a normal burger and fries. Way too many fries by the way. Is there some burger that I should be ordering there? I have heard nothing but love for this place but I'm not getting it.
Its the freshness. More of a "customizable" In & Out. Just get lots of topping and double meat. Stack it. Then its a beast. Same with Moo Moo's Burgers, though they are a bit overpriced for the same thing. and if your not a fry guy, then yeah, its a bit much.
Yeah, there are definately better burgers out there but I mainly go for the customization possibilities. Other than that in-n-out tastes much better.
OK cool. Yeah, my favorite place is a little local joint called Edzo's. Not technically in Chicago, but it's the best I've had in the area. Also we had Hamburger Mary's this weekend and they had a pizza burger, burger with sausage, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Oh my Godzilla! It was awesome!
i've been on a burger jones lately... ended up making a bleu and fig for the missus last week. but what's really got my interest is the steakhouse cheeseburger at (i know, i'm skeptical too) michael jordan's restaurant here in chicago. made with a mix of chuck, brisket and short rib. reliable sources say it's one of the best in chicago. (also skeptical, but the guy gets paid to eat on tv, so...)
i love pizza burgers! i like making them with fresh mozzarella, sauteed mushrooms, pepperoni and some marinara, topped with some italian spices and
I would kill for a Tommy's Hamburgers double chili cheese from their original location in Eagle Rock, CA, right now!
yeah. needing some photos of this? checklist of burger stuff...etc. i'm really into anything that is a burger-creature... and let's see those tats!
one of mine. This is my dream girl...the In-n-out employee complete with giant safety pin and that weird baseball-ish hat.
Haha, Burgerdier General, hell yes. I don't collect action figures, but I remember Food Fighters from my childhood and now I want some. I haven't had a really good burger in a while. I suppose the last time was at a small, local chain called Burger 21. I need to fix that soon.
this is quite rad. i have some pin-ups but none are burgermorphic, thanks for sharing! the safety pin is killer, i like her socks too!
just busted these guys out... and put them with the patty powers... going to be moving soon, so some of this is getting packed up for now...but a rad burgermorphic display will be hitting the new place full o' inspiration! already heard from some of yous guys regarding submissions, which is really rad. I've been doodling a lot too and am getting stoked on pushing burgermorphic to the next level. p.s. any portland peeps want to do a burgermorphic meet-up? crazy hour at killer burger [hollywood, still not used to the fact there is one in sellwood now] is from 2-5 during the week. any takers? also, if there are other burger meet-ups post pics of your pattys in the thread!
I think people should probably not bother trying to collect these. They are dumb, not cool and I definitely do not try to find these carded every year at SDCC.
is that code for you being their biggest fan/collector and no one should tread on your turf? or are you just too cool for a burger w/ biceps? it says right on the package that they are the 'kookiest', and the bugerdier general is absolutely a burgermorph so he can stay. in this thread at least. AND THAT PATTY RULES SO HARD!!!! drool...
You can buy a whole carded collection for less than I spend on some brand new sofubi. But yes, no one else should like them or buy them.
For the San Diego residents this is going on today. Grill 'Em All is pretty awesome. I'll be there around 2:00 http://www.yelp.com/events/san-diego-gr ... or-monique
