Well, it wasn't exactly in the mail, but the other day at a nearby swap meet I came across this beast (pardon the iPhone quality pictures):




This was beyond what I would have expected to find at a swap meet that I've regularly attended which generally has very little in the way of toys. If I hadn't seen Sanjeev's review and article regarding these things last year I probably would have ignored it as just another ride-on toy for kids.

It's a little scuffed up and is missing its missiles/discs and the black stickers on the vertical fin, but other than that it seems to be in pretty good shape.

Does anybody have any other information about these Spazers? I'm not a jumbo collector at all but from the small amount of research I've done it seems like info is sparse on this subject.

I'm pretty sure that thing has brought in some large dollars in some overseas auctions... I could be wrong, but you should browse through that "post insane auctions after their done" section.

 

must say, pretty happy you chose the r32... some folks go for the r33 because its newer... bt the R33 is straight crap!...

Not in the mail but I picked up this Stone Buddha for 15 dollars, at a roadside stop... I've got some insane photos to post from there, but not till I finish working on my macbook later this week... The guy had a lifesize Jesus, and other people on crosses, in the middle of the woods, a complete set up of the last supper, and about 30 other people made of fiberglass. Everything was horribly run down, and decrepit. It was like being in a horror movie, especially when I fell through the earth, up to my thighs in some sort of sewage water, got out and saw bolt cutters and rusted chains laying all over the place... It was weird.

 

I think that counts as a vinyl toy, unless the monitor is new
