Did Salt house last week, Had the Poutine and a deconstructed BLT, The mains were alright but not worth the price. Lot of mousey brown there for me to goof on though. I love it. Doing Wayfare Tavern soon. Oh I have a food zine coming soon. It will be the food version of my kirkland interviews.
when a guy takes a fresh from the tree coconut, cuts it open, then pours out the juice instead of drinking it...

Has anyone ate at the Venus in Berkeley? I am going there tomorrow for dinner and wanted to know how the food and ambiance is. http://www.venusrestaurant.net/
Not BASK but recommended ! (... and anyway, it's sold out this year as it operate only in sugar season). La Cabane à sucre Au pied de cochon.
Went to a cafe in San Francisco the other day called Pirate Radio Cafe. Half of the cafe is radio station the other half is a cafe that serves only vegan food. The odd thing about this vegan cafe is that they have a latte that is not exactly vegan.... Check out the first line item under the Specialities section: It actually is incredibly good!!! It is made with organic bacon and bacon fat...looked like a teaspoon full, with some pure maple syrup and whole milk....and topped off with baco's
It's been awhile since I've gone anywhere to eat worth mentioning. Props to Alex for picking Bar Tartine tonight to celebrate Connell's birthday (again ). http://www.yelp.com/biz/bar-tartine-san-francisco No pics of food. But here's a pic of part of the menu. Some hit and misses but overall pretty good. I like the atmosphere, but it might be because we had the best table in house. Or maybe because there were plenty of cute girls eating out tonight. Service was exceptional. I was surprised. Especially the number of times they cleared our silverware. Kirkland and Alex ordered the burger and I believe they both enjoyed it. I'm sure they can chime in more on that. Connell and I got the Chicken Paprika. I'd recommend it. I would definitely go back and try some of their other offerings.
