absolutely. and looking great together. can never have eonough mini fortune cats... loving the atom a armwrestler minis. funny sculpts. great paintjob. no hype.
▲ so much cool stuff. i love the line of kabuki mutant evils! and i would kill for that drunk boy . . . . .
Great collection. I especially like your Le Merde resins! Hey where did you get that tall, skinny display case? That's exactly the type of case I've been looking for.
Love the variety - and some of the lines that don't get much love here like the Fulcraims and the Vatundoos!
hey spacemonkey, that is a really-really nice collection and vintage case! like the little doreamon with the big whiskers! was also wondering about the 2 prints/paintings that are richard scary-esqe in the background-those are really wonderful! where'd you get those? who did them?
The complete GID set is so amazing! Loudwizard had his set customized, and subsequently his set was broken up. At the time I had a chance to buy the entire set, but was short of change, so Rain negotiated the sale for a consortium of us, and the little swimmers have been in individual homes ever since. BTW, i recognize the Andrew Brandou piece in the above photo. Didn't realize it had been made into a print! Love the vintage display case.
Thanx owler! The Doreamon is alloy, made by Popy (it's a reissue of the 1979 original). The print in the frame "Hexagram" is by American artist Andrew Brandou. The unframed print "Kaiju Zoo", behind the toys is one of mine. You can see more detailed views on my website (or buy one if you want to!): http://www.martinharrisart.com
Such great pieces in your collection spacemonkey! So cool to see that many Toygraph racers lined up. I didn't even know there was an Alien Icarus one.
My collection, after a series of sales, has been getting leaner and leaner... Vinyl records are takin' over!
I like the vinyl records/ vinyl toy combo too : My g/f put a few things on the shelves, so no I don't sew. Seriously the thought of moving those records again makes me complacent about moving. Last time I was laid up in bed for a day after moving them all.
Awesome record collection. I can see myself buying one of those shelves in the near future---are those Mujis?
Looks like IKEA to me: http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/60071358 Does Muji make them as well?
