Just the mention of Ico, makes me want to look into this Enslaved game. I'm really looking forward to The Last Guardian though.
i just started playing an hour ago, but when i got my first car it says you need to "favorite" cars in your garage to be able to use them in arcade mode..hope this helps
I've only played the first Uncharted so I can't really say how it compares to the 2nd ones gameplay (I'm assuming they're very similar though), but I'd definitely call Enslaved Uncharted's Sci-Fi Beat-em up cousin. There's lots of climbing and exploring that's totally in the same vein as Uncharted, and I'd have to say that I'm enjoying Enslaved as much as the first game at this point. I think that there is a demo for Enslaved on PSN if you wanted to check it out before you buy it.
Also, I know I'm waaaaay behind the times, but recently bought a computer with decent-ish specs (after my crummy 5 year old laptop shit the bed) and have been playing the first Mass Effect on it. Man, that game is awesome!
Mass Effect is a great game! I played it on the Xbox360. Also played the second one, which is good as well, just more of the same formula with tweaks to inventory and more class selection. The ending is intentionally left open ended for a Mass Effect 3.
Yeah, I love it so far! The designs on the aliens are brilliant! I can't wait to get to the second one.
Mass effect 2 is one of the best games i've played in recent memory, runs awesome on my 2009 unibody macbook pro too... i cant say enough good things about it..
Enslaved was excellent, finished it a few days ago and now I'm going through again on Hard to enjoy the ridiculously gorgeous scenery and beat up some more mechs (as well as grab a few more trophies along the way). It reminded me of quite a few games, the teamwork dynamic felt at times like a sci-fi Ico in a post-apocalyptic landscape, while some action sequences reminded me of Beyond Good & Evil. The combat had a similar feel to Heavenly Sword, which is another great, cinematic game. Between those two titles I'm already a pretty big Ninja Theory fan, and I'm actually really looking forward to seeing how they handle the Devil May Cry reboot.
Awesome game! A work of art, about 5 hours of gameplay so if it's worth 1200 Microsoft funny points is up to you. I think it's worth it just so these guys make more games Also one the the most brutal games have ever played, not difficulty wise but graphically
Have you Devil May Cry fans played Bayonetta? I loved the game. It's a great action game that's fast paced, has great graphics, and has over the top action. The story is nothing worth noting, but still a great entertaining game regardless.
The Ninja Theory reboot is...a bit controversial so far. Capcom reportedly wanted to take the series in a completely different direction, so they asked NT to come up with a concept that was radically different yet still tied in with the DMC mythology. Original concepts that came back for the new Dante were too close to the flamboyant source material. Capcom's Keiji Inafune and Hideaki Itsuno weren't having any of that and told the team to, according to Svensson, be "much more creative." Svensson explains that, "This is meant to be an origin story, so this is Dante before you knew who Dante was." The teaser trailer (no actual gameplay shown) can be viewed here. Personally, I'm really intrigued and excited to see if they can pull this off. I know there are quite a few people already pretty annoyed by the new look...but I say wait until the game actually comes out and give it a chance before getting too bent out of shape. It's still being carefully supervised by the guys who made the originals: Capcom's Hideaki Itsuno, who's worked on all four Devil May Cry games, has confidence that Ninja Theory are the ones for the job. So does producer Motohide Eshiro and Capcom America's Alex Jones, both of whom are intimately involved with managing the project.
I thought Bayonetta was really good. Not Ninja Gaiden 2 good, but good. Basically any action game that's about ~10 hours and involves killing lots of (insert angels, zombies, nazi's, blah blah blah) is my bread and butter.
