Kaiju returns to nature... post your outdoor shots...

Great pics! I myself have wanted to get some pics of a pirate or captain on a boat but no opportunity.
These are very fun to see.

I took some other pics on the Bounty, but sadly, they did'nt come out that clear.

^ Yes it was, part of the Tall Ships on the Quays event.
It was so crowded that I'm lucky that at least 2 pics came out great !

 

For those of you who haven't seen my thread in the Whatever section, I am currently on a trip/move to Portland. Spending some time on the road, and going to a bunch of cool places. Kept a few toys unpacked for photos.

I'm having fun with it. The only probably is thinking about all the toys I packed away. I had to open a box to get this guy out. Cosmic Hobo just seemed right for the Arches.

Thanks Jeff, for some reason my 20mm f/1.7 seems to have more prominent bokeh than my 30mm f/1.6 - it's DOF is pretty narrow.

 

funny, yesterday i was just reading about this building and its structural system to fulfill some professional continuing education credits. did you and garuru get to go to the top of the world's tallest skyscraper?

@ jcat: Yup I went up to level #124 which is the maximum allowed for the visits. The most amazing thing is that it took less than 1 minute to reach this level starting from the ground :-0

Here's my 3yr old having her own shoot . I went off to pick some apples, when i came back this is what i found. She pulled him out of my bag and started snapping pics on her own.
