So, am I reading the 2nd part of Joe's KC posting correctly, such that blue Puppet and brown Tonneran will have hand-drawn inserts with them, resulting in a price increase of each to Y11k? Would those also be available at La Camera only between May 14th and June 27th, like the "Lantern" edition figures?
Hmm, lost in translation. From what I'd guess is that the Tonneran and Alien Puppet will be sold based on the pics. Elegab will be there drawing comics. For fun? And the price of Y11k is for all the limited edition vinyl. All of these I believe are the Lantern Exhibit exclusives. I could be wrong.
Man, that brown Tonneran looks good. The brown really works for the up-rooted earth effect, but I wonder why he hasn't actually painted the road black on one yet.
These are the Tonnerans I'm looking for. Totally confused about the sales status of these; I guess they are all limited run / show exclusives?
Whoa! I've been passing on these tunnel dudes but if that glitter is obtainable I gotta get one! If they're NOT runs I hope that he does a glitter run someday! The brown is awesome too, I like it more then the others so far as well. I love brown vinyl.
I'm stoked that the glitters are up for sale. Now fingers crossed...I never have much luck in these damn lotteries.
Hmm I've held back on these Tunneran but must admit they're getting more interesting. I wish that brown was up I'd be all over it.
That glitter is pretty sweet. Best of luck with the lottery. I already picked up the orange vinyl with green spray so I'm not going in for this one. I'd be tempted by that brown though!
I like how the tongue is sticking out in the sculpted version. I hope he does one in black vinyl. BTW I hope he still sculpts one of those drawings where the creature has buildings in it. There was the smokestack pollution monster and the one with the city on it's head. Either would be great.
the stance seems a little weird, a bit too wide for me maybe, but that's my only complaint otherwise very cool, love the chunkiness and the claw hands especially, looks very fun to play with!
was just thinking it'd be awesome he kept the slime-green + yellow color combo. then again, perhaps the oil-sludge after touch will add something special. Also, am i seeing it well that the proto sculpt has a fwd curving tail and of course the front horn buds?
I need to see it painted, the sculpt just like that does not appeal to me. But the drawing is very nice, I like it very much.
Hmm...I hate to say it but I'm just not liking this one. We'll see with paint, but every other sculpt he has done I liked immediately. Something about the head/face just doesn't appeal to me.
