I've put together some info. I'll keep adding to it with pics and info as I travel around. Special consideration for sofubi hunters - what to eat in Nakano, Itabashi, Aoto, etc.

If anyone has tips on good veggie restaurants, please post, and I'll add the info.

    Sorry, I don't. Is that a store?

Yesterday I ate at a very nice okonomiyaki/monja joint in Koenji, not far from Thrashout. I'll update the blog post in a bit with pics, as well as a bit on DIY veggie eating.

I think you should post about Vegan options because I think that is infinitely more difficult in japan. I will add that indian is a great option for Vegans there.

Yeah I imagine being a vegan is a bit more difficult. It's taken me years to put together a nice play book just for veggie eating. But most of what I've posted (soba, tempura, Indian, etc,) is probably fine for vegans too, outside of okonomiyaki or other dishes that contain multiple ingredients.

I guess my best advice would be to just order dishes that come in distinct individual elements (soba, tempura, tofu, etc.) Beyond that, DIY cooking is a great option.

But anyway truth, I'm not a vegan, so if you can post more info here for vegans, that would be awesome.
