Saw this in April a the Philly Film fest and it was the best movie I saw there. Hands down. Totally amazing.

Then at Comic Con, I Saw Steve Weibe interviewing before playing Donkey Kong and got more starstruck than seeing/meeting anyone else. He was there to play the person with the highest score over the course of the con. I love this movie.

I also got sweet promo merch, there a coin (get it) keychain with billy on one side, steve on the other! awesome.

    I agree. See this movie.

What? Billy wasn't there too? That guy probably gets cursed at & spit on on a daily basis now.

I think it got a wider release this week so if it's playing in your town check it out and bring friends. I saw it with a jaded film festival crowd and there's no resisting the urge to cheer during the dramatic bits. I'm definitely going to see it again!

I bought the dvd used. great movie. could billy be that much of a douche or is it selective editing?

you can only edit personality so much, its his own words and creepiness that make him such a jerk. the hair helps a bit too.

on a side note, who is down to get a case of billy's hot sauce with me? I don't need a whole case.

some british blogger had him do hot sauce taste tests in the UK. I'd have to say he comes off better in print than in the film

Editing, from what I remember it was made by Steve Wiebe. This was a short article I read somewhere when it first came out so it could be wrong. Every movie needs a hero and a villain.

I don't know man, he really does come off like a proper twat.
I was wondering if it was editing as well, but some things he says... no, he's a twat.

Billy Mitchell. What else can one say? I love the scene when Billy is lurking around in his 70-year-old-man style Lexus. Classic.

Was looking forward to seeing this since the trailer, forgot about it, got reminded by this thread and finally got to watch it tonight. A real gem - I laughed, I cheered, I got all fucking teary-eyed. Brilliant.

    Most hilarious part by far:

-"So whaddaya think's my handle?" (Billy oh-so subtly tugging at tie)
    -"T.I.E.?"

Muaahahahahaha fuck yeah! Then he beat up on Jr. too. What a douche and awesome champ! It's like he has nothing else to live for except that hair, some sauce and being a dick bag. I heart Billy Mitchell. I might be him for Halloween now!

That would be awesome, you should get someone else to dress up like a Donkey Kong cabinet.
