Got this on the weekend. Comes in a limited edition box with x2 Hand cannons, comic & game. Very Tarantinoish. Game is like a Grindhouse movie divided up into episodes, each with their own theme/setting including a level boss. Hospital theme, circus showground, moving train (rip from RE). I've never heard "Mutherf#ck*r" used so many times in a game before. Is this really a release for a Nintendo console? Cut scenes become very painful as you can't seem skip them. Characters do have there funny moments though. All this aside, the game is great fun! Player 2 can jump in anytime and join the co-op action. You can also upgrade weapons. Revolver (cannons) feel a bit weird when you eventually use the shotgun. Damn, the game really comes into its own at this point. Head shots galore!!! Apparently you can use the Nintenedo branded crossbow/shotgun with this game too. Has mini games as well as the main story game. Also, some of the best in-game music i've hard in a very long time. We have a HD Tv, so the picture quality get a bit frustrating. Noticed a few frame rate issues. Pretty shitty picture quality actually, but it's also edited up with skips & film scratches to give it the Grindhouse feel. Highly recommended. Some of the best adult content on the Wii so far. Grab a 6 pack, crack a brew and kick back to blow hundreds of zombies away.
Looks cool, thanks for the honorable mention. I've played House of the Dead games but never got TOO into them. Is this playable online as well?
I don't have anything to compare it to, but I'm HOOKED! I can't make it through the campaign mode because I always go on-line to kill virtual people. It almost brings me back to the days of playing 4-player Golden Eye.
