    This is a shock. I am really saddened by this news, if I hadn't seen it here I would never have known. Japanese news probably woulnd make this a headline. :(

    This saddens me to no end.
    Even more so than Betty's passing.
    Two lovely ladies gone in a year.

    I have many Eartha Kitt albums. I'm less impressed with her later releases but her amazing voice has never diminished.

    She's a complete original and will definitely be missed..
