For some reason getting those 2 new heaters just made this shelf so nice. I realize there are a few "western toys" floating in it but the diversity of characters just looks good together. Snapped a few pics this morning:

The heaters are boss. is the cresent-head one new? what's the story behind him--is he a different character altogether, or heater robo in super-mode or something?

Yea, that's the new King Heater.
    No idea on the rest.
Just know I want one also.

Same company, same character, just a newer twist on the older Heater, called King Heater. Different arm weapons (detachable), you get the gun, the drill or the claw. This particular one was the first version of the new King Heater. Gold with the gun arm. Came out in April. Newer GID versions came out in May (pink GID with drill arm, and unpainted GID) and just this week we had a Goldish/Silver one come out in three versions each with a different arm attachment.

    Thanks for the info. :)
I just want a GID (king) heater figure and a GID etch figure. Everytime my gf sees an Etch, she says "look at gerrard" ...after a while, it started to grow on me. I'll wait for a little money-luck and a bargain though.

You mean the Hydrogen H Monster by Emupaiya? I know it's referred to as the Echhi or Ecci monster also I think. Yeah the GID of that is hard to track down. I was lucky enough to get mine from Plover (Tim) when I joined the board. Incidentally he sold me the King Heater as well, so I owe him alot for helping me out. Certain Emupaiya figures are really hard to track down, GID Etch, early Heaters, new King Heaters....

the Hydrogen Monster? haha, that would explain the shape. thanks again for shedding some light. I might have to settle for another version. I didn't realize that the Ecchi is only 5.5 inches. I always thought it was 8-9".

I'm loving the King heater, he's really, really special. Anyone on here has one of those beauties, and is willing to part with it, let me know :D
