It'd be more popular with the KR masses if it wasn't hand-painted. They dislike coloring outside of the lines over there. If anything, you'd think that the collab with Circus Punks might have generated more crossover interest, but as I recall, most people wanted that set for one item or the other, not both.
These will sell just fine, not a big buzz on these guys largely from the fact the more recent ones have been jazzed up ex. gold vinyl, clear etc. Wait until a new crazy fig come in, it will be added to most basket then. I do like the dark blue...
I like Zags but prefer the large ones to the minis. I have a few minis, but this one seems to heavy for me. Plus I'm chasing other stuff. Can't have everything.
Okay, I take that back. Let me rephrase. If you're constantly selling (turning over) stuff, you can have everything briefly.
even the clear mini zag with insert guts were not that quick to sell out, and i know some people bought more than one...probably they made more of the minis??
... i think that Zag rules!...i don't have any but that's because of a combination of lack of money and focusing on only a couple of things(Pushead/RxH/Le Merde)...
i don't think people like the zag anymore. yeah, that's the ticket. so, for all of you with those moldy old zags......like the s7 sub one...,hint, hint....just send em my way..... and focusing??? what does that mean?
If it's a choice of having stuff sat on shelf for a week or two (which seems to happen with most SB/Gargamel releases) rather than the usual frenzied clusterfuck (which seems to happen with most RxH) I know which I'd prefer . . .
...focusing...it means(in my case)that i only have a certain amount of $ to go around...after bills and utilities i separate a certain amount of $ to go to other shit(toys, records, going out)...i made a choice of focusing on my main collection which just happens to be Pushead and Real Head and now Le Merde...
i have no focus when it comes to this stuff....just sort of buy what makes me happy.....i can certainly admire anybody that has a narrow focus though....i do limit the amount that i allow myself to spend per month for sure......since i just started using celga, it is WAY to easy to blow my budget in a couple of purchases.....
I think Gargamel production numbers are way up for their "main" releases like the clear Gargamel mini brothers, mini Zag - stuff like that. Meaning everyone can get one, but sure they don't sell out instantly like the limited releases. Anyway I think it's totally unnecessary to think that just because something doesn't sell out instantly then it means there's "no love" for it. That's fad/hype talk. I've seen a ton of that kind of writing on here over the last 6 months. Not sure why.
this came in today......and i must say that i prefer this one over the ningyushi one.....really liking the blueness.....
I think this little guy looks cool. I am really hoping to get into Zag collecting, as there is something about the lil' guy thats just too appealing to resist. I think, for what its worth, they could've maybe changed up the color of the eye, but i'd still take it, and will (if there are any left when I can get one...)
right on. and i wasn't talking about the 'no love' because it hasn't sold out. i was refering to all the posts in the Gargamel and Store Pit section that focused on the Ojo Rojo and no talk of the zag. I understand this, the Ojo is fresh and new, the zags had it's time in the light, but it's fading a bit. I was just trying to give the zag some attention!
Holy stealth underwear! Was just poking around on Knunt, and they are charging $25 more for the little fella than S7!
