I got my Dead By Gun SB recently and I love it! The flashy gimmicky thing is awesome and addicting to show to people who come over (most of which care nothing for toys, and could care less, but still). Anyways, before taking the toy apart to see how it works, does anyone know? does it run on a watch battery or something? i dread the day the flashy play stops working!

I don't own any of the SB figs that have this "flashy gimmicky thing" in them but do have what I assume to be the same contraption in a Heater. My "flashy gimmicky thing" runs on three watch batteries.

Since they are LED's, the batteries should last for a long time (unless you can't keep your hands off of 'em.)

bought mine straight from the Base but unfortunately no flashing strobe for me!!! :(

I can hear it rattlin' round inside though

can't decide whether to contact SB about it (considering the price he set me back) or just live with it... maybe just need to replace the batteries??

Direct from SB was a $$$ deal considering the $100+ price tag once it shipped on over to the US.

I suggest breaking out the hairdryer and checking the batteries haven't worked loose.

the led thing is pretty cool, its your normal little led on a tiny board with i think 2 watch batterys, like the ones that go in laser pointers, it has a pin sticking up and a spring around the pin, when the spring hits the pin it activates the lights. i want another or a few to try em in dif toys like the halloween gid toys!!

that's not a bad idea. i think i'm gonna go find a bunch. pretty soon all my toys will have them in it and all I will have to do is nudge the shelf a little bit and the whole thing will light up!

yes, but they do flash and flicker if you just tap them. i found some that have more than one led on them as well. so they all sort of flash.

You could prob make your own. I have been messing with throwies lately and its pretty easy to put that stuff together. Make magazine also has tutorials on how to create more advanced versions of LED fun too!

received an ubiq obake and the light aint working... it sounds a bit weird compared to the whiz obake, like it is broken or maybe just opened :)

can the skull fig slip out of its obake sheet, or will i have to work on it with a hair dryer?

the neobake looks like it is a bit easier to slip in and out, the arms are up higher and all.
