http://www.flickr.com/missymazzaferro the toys set has the new stuff. Some are the same as skylar's since, well, we share shelving. Living Room More Living Room Bathroom Minis and much more!
Those ghosts from the Haunted Mansion kick some major ass. On a side not we went to Disneyworld the first week in January and my son (4) loved the Mansion but he liked to call it the Spooky House. Something I had never noticed before was the person hagning in the top of the waiting room with the growing walls. Was that always there or did they add it when they re-did the ride?
haha that was always there (as far as I know!) It was definitely there before the most recent revisions, its the beginning of the whole story! those are skylar's ghosts. i do love em though.
Quit posting pictures of the creepy dolls . . . I just got used to sleeping with the light out after last time!
Your Vintage American stuff kills me Missy. Where do you score all of this stuff? Is it ebay or Pa flea markets?
The bathroom Bertby install is awesome! I also like how the skull pirates all have their hooks in the air. So good, so good, so good!
haha actually the "bathroom" caption belongs to the pic above it, with the clown head the Bertby with the be@rbricks is in the living room. I have one too, but mine is in total disarray. I actually have lots more crap to put out that needs to find a home first
A little bit of everything! What stuff in particular? The soakies? The mid-century US stuff will always be my favorite. haha thanks! Most pirates are slumped over, but mine are VICTORIOUS! I just got another pirate & a captain in the mail today so I'll have to take a new shot once i get them organized. I need risers first!
you guys are too cool for school!!! love the soakies, goga and wonderful collections..... why does the bullmark goji have his own shelf?? always loved that fire-breathing version.....gotta find me one, one of these days..... as to your flikr.......paul rubens is GOD!!! and thanks for sharing!! -jeremy
Awesome stuff, I like the godzilla on the far left in the shelf pic, is the far right one a soap dish? That is pretty neat. The 400% halloween bearbricks are great too.
Nice stuff Missy. Rare to find a couple into toys as much as you both are. You should mix in some of your pus stuff with the dolls.
I used to have them set up that way, but it just got over-crowded. maybe I'l do more mixing soon. I like how a lot of 1 figure look on a shelf, so i tend to segregate.
Missy, I agree the decapitated clown head is top notch. I think thats my favorite piece in the collection, how do you keep it so well preserved?
the clown head is actually mine I only picked him up recently (like 2-3 weeks ago even). found him at a toy show. he's actually one of the molded clown heads from the game at the boardwalk/carnival where you shoot the water into the mouth and make the balloon pop. but he's uncut (no mouth hole) and never used. when I saw what good condition he was in I had to have him.
You guys need to post bigger pics. I like seeing if people have the same toys as me and just in case there is something I want
This is a great looking shelf to display toys. Ikea, I assume? I wish there was one around here. Lot's of great stuff, it's very focused yet random at the same time. If you or skylar get a chance I would love to see close-ups.
i don't sell my toys. i hoard them There are large pics of each shelf on the flickr site linked in the first post. -M
..... i feel sorry for the lonely blue guy on the shelf all by hisself. and yes, ikea must have had toy collectors in mind when they developed majority of their shelving units.
