HARDCORE/PUNK MIX CD'S POT LUCK

just hit up this list Baikin. and no it doesn't sound weird!

 

just wondering are we going to send a cd to everyone on the list(wich i would prefer as to sample all people differenet tastes) or is this blind bagged
im going to start burning up some cd various stuff but would like to get a cd from numerous people i can provide blank cd and a couple bucks for shipping

 

id be happy to send mine to as many people as wants it but would like a dollar for post !

I dunno how it could work but I'd be more interested in hearing more OG US Punk rather than contemporary thrash! . . .

I think its important that what we listen to should be irrelevant for the mix. Just make a good mix. Itll be great to hear classics among things you get introduced to.

 

I forgot I did bring a few records to Japan but only 1 punk 12", THE GERMS " What We Do is Secret", awesome record.

Bannedindc: Yo Al,the Inmates are fucking ragers!!! I think I'll bust out some Darvocets,Cider,Ruiners,Windpipe,H-100's,Puncture Wound,Hangnail,Sloth,9 Shocks Terror,etc all on one half of a cd for someone. Call it the Alex/Clevo edition.

Here's the deal. I'll pm you guys and you guys let me know if you want to do a tape/cd for everyone. Only the people who want to do one for everyone will get involved. For the ones who either don't have time or just want 1 or 2 trades,i'll spread it around so we'll all be even.
Also,just so you guys know,I've completed 4 cd-r's and 2 tapes.

Bad Brains are and will always be a DC band. as for the NYC thing, they were visitors. but NYC likes to cop that one alot. no offense to any NYC because I do indeed have 2 Cro-mags related tattoos.

HR just aquired the domain DChardcore.com from yours truly. No idea what hes really doing with it. He also still chills hard at DC punk clubs on semi regular basis.

 

Yeah I know. Hell,even the Bad Brains(from what I remember)claim NYHC,right? Those 2 cities are so cool with each other. Like when Fear played live at Saturday Night Live,all the DC crew went to NYC for the taping. On the footage you can see Henry and Ian stage diving and going crazy! Now NYHC and Boston...that's another story!
