lol....just a couple of years after me! might be hard to see, but you will recognize the back of the header card too. pretty much where we hung out at lunch (when not ditching school to eat at Burrito King, Giamela's, Yucca's, etc.) Go Barristers!!!
lol. I didn't recognize it at first but now it's so obvious. This is officially my favorite header card!
I don't like the PopSoda figure at all... but Kirkland's color scheme and overall look is very pretty indeed. Congrats!
Kirkland, congratulation!!!!! I agree that this is by far the best color combo of the Popsida figure - you definitely put this one over the top - can't wait to see what you have next on tap
This toybot popsoda rocks! I like the fact that some spaces on the vinly was left unpainted (?) Great concept for a header card---i guess more toybot releases in the future??
Class of '85 Drama Club Photo this toy is really well done, the way the colors on the back of the head morph in the light is really nice. the blue and purple with the clear pink vinyl works great. great job kirkland.
thanks. actually one of you guys (may have been Vombie) sent me a pm when I showed the very first Popsoda custom months ago complaining that I painted over all the beautiful pink vinyl...!! Also Brian thought there was not enough contrast between the gold/green splatter on the face and the rest of the head. so I listened and changed up the figure (actually a lot)
BIG CONGRATS on the rockin figure Kirkland. I saw the writeup on TOYSREVIL ( http://toysrevil.blogspot.com/2007/12/l ... d-jue.html ) as well. It's already been said but I really do thing that this IS the best painted POPSODA that has been released.
Just wanted to say congratulations again Kirkland. The colors on this are beautiful. Beautiful enough for me to buy my first Kaiju. It was also great talking to you. Time to hunt down that Mini.
