It's a Dark Side Hero Toy, it looks completely DYI, there are bubbles and poc marks in the vinyl and it's hand painted.

 

Nice positioning of your figures. The GID Matango Man totally has that "Thriller-zombie" lurch.

Yeah no doubt, I got outbid on him on the bay a month or 2 back. Kinda makes me think that's where RxH got the inspiration for the Pop Soda guy.

I'm seeing waaaay too many very nice and pricey toys getting waaay to much UV light.
I don't like it.
I've been collecting Japanese toys a long time, and I know about the heartbreak of UV fading...

 

So do tell, what type/brands of lights and lighting are best? I don't have any UV lights in my place, but good to know I guess. I mean "no sun" is a no brainer, but what's a good interior light than?

 

I'd post my collection but it doesn't seem to have enough Japanese vinyl.

 

Meh, I'll post mine in two years LOL. When friends visit they're all "there are toys EVERYWHERE" but if one of you guys came over you'd say "Oh. Newb."

 

I have ONE shelf of these toys and my gf thinks they are EVERYWHERE!

A plain old incandescent light bulb will do. Halogen lights are fine, but they generate a lot of heat -- keep them at a distance."

When we are forced to change to energy-saving florescent bulbs out here in Cali, I'm getting my bulbs on the Black-Market...

How quickly does UV fading occur under fluorescent lights, versus direct sunlight?

Just poured overy every pic...and some very impressive stuff here

Pictures of most of my collection in a storage unit in North Hollywood and in my web infested garage just won't cut it compared to these!!!

 

GID Matango Man (so totally sweet) and the red, white, and blue Chicken Fevers are some things I've been wanting forever. Very sick stuff right there.
