very cool!! interesting too, (seems like) the interview was recorded almost about a month ago, the same time when coop posted on his blog this link that has some pics of his studio... there are also some pics of his house cool the hear coop's story on toy collecting. i wonder who else is next on skullbrain tv? biran flynn? frank?
Brian's collection has to be experienced in Smell-O-Vision™. The reek from the wall o' vinyl is enough to fell a full-grown rhino. I like this, it's Skullbrain's version of "Cribs."
Roger, you hit it on the head. that is what I am trying to pull off. I just suck at video so I can't do all the crane shots and all that. Next interveiw I will bring a pro with me.
but your lady collects so that could be a interesting story. if I make it to philly, I will shoot a PHILA COLLECTORS episode.
you can focus on the rivalry between manly skully tentacley monster toys and girly fashiony dolls and how we fight for shelf space.
xxx that makes me less imbarrased that i live in oklahoma... sweet. I always dug his shit, and didnt know the links between him and frozik.
Nice work Ramos. Amazing collection of gear. Did you ask him his thoughts on the new generation of Kaiju gear - SB, Gargamel etc.
I asked him about fight figure stuff, but he isn't to into it. He also says that anything like that(toys that get hot and expensive) will just go down in price if you wait a little while. So who knows maybe he will get into it.
Cool feature, nice job on all fronts. I would like to see a bit more of the toys, tho, which I think is a general request about here. It was nice to see an interview with Coop. I didn't realize it was that Coop until I watched. The Lords of Acid's Voodoo U is one of my favourite album covers ever. Uncensored, of course. More SkullBrain TV!!!
xxx Ramos, you need to start doing podcast interviews of collectors and artist, that would kick so much ass there would be shit everywhere. update us when you make it happen. You kick much antisipated ass. toy rock a talking brotha.
