For my first time picking up a Lucky bag, I decided to grab two. Almost got a perfect dupe. Zag is my fave, and I was hoping for the painted guy. Dig the two-eye Tertran and hot pink Hedoran though!
As usual, I have eagerly kept up with this thread and enjoyed the vicarious thrills of LB season... but in particular, I am so agog over that Deathra. And I don't care for red vinyl, usually! But that beast is MARVELOUS. EDIT: Oh shit. Help me Jeebus!
Those who bought from us, the bags are enroute. I am so happy to see the variety of this years bags in all the pics. Also happy to see Deathra back in the mix as well as smash face in an eye popping color ta' boot. That Miborah is also stunning. We have a couple extras due to the delay this year. Some people backed out, and we understand. So, if anyone is still looking
Am I the only one being bothered by the missing silver touch on the Zagoran hands and feet? It seems like it has not been fully completed...
God damn this thread. I just purchased one (I really shouldn't be right now but oh well). There were far too many figs I'd be happy with getting.
I kinda like how they varied the Zag and Miborah paint this year. At first I thought the Miborah needed more green when next to the zag. It took me a minute to really like both equally.
my second bag arrived today. the zag lover in me was quite happy, despite the duplicate stony zag and my second painted tetran (alpha & beta at least!).
I was surprised that the new Chibi-Zag has an altered head sculpt with smooth upper head. With that and the smooth torso, I’m guessing they will be making guts for these chibi Zags and Tetrans soon (I don’t have any Zags with inner skulls to compare to)
Talked to a few friends about this earlier. The smooth head will be much better for guts details. I still like the texture, and how it works so well with paint, on the original.
Got my lucky bag today from DDR (thanks @666doll !) I got: painted Tetran alpha (two eyes) Unpainted silver glitter Miborah Unpainted orange lil Zag Unpainted stone grey mini Zag Unpainted lime green micro Zag, goggleman and cyclops hover bike. I am not unhappy with my pull at all!
