The dark clear vinyl combo doesn't show the sculpt off to its best and I'm sure that there will be stronger colourways in the future, but being the first release made it a no-brainer.

There’s no dedicated TWIM thread here and I doubt anyone here owns enough, or gives a shit enough, for there to be one. Even I myself only own five figures. So since Ken decided to resurrect the Bomber Kid through Headlock Studio, I figured this would be the new home for it. This new version is pretty rad. Wild color choices out the gate, as is usually Ken’s style, and it’s heavy. Nice, quality feel. I’m diggin’ the high gloss but I’m hopin’ we see some matte finish versions, too.

Next version already scheduled for release direct from TWIM.

One of many rabbit holes I''m intentionally avoiding these days..

@Anti Social Andy I did see that via TWIM’s page. A resurrection of the OG 10” version, if I remember correctly. It looks awesome! I’m sure by the time Headlock releases it, it will be some time from now. TWIM’s release is Japan only, so it might even only be a store exclusive!

Headlock is no stranger to the idea and flawless execution of artist collaborations. And now we have an absolutely perfect rendition of an American artist’s 2D art, translated into immaculately presented 3D toy form, Draculazer’s Slime Kun. Wow. I am beyond impressed with the marriage of Michael’s art and Knuckle’s sculpting. Talk about goin’ from Headlock to wedlock. Slime Kun retains every bit of both Michael’s signature character work and Knuckle’s signature sculpting style that makes both unmistakably theirs. The slimy textures are worked perfectly that come across like demonic melted candle wax. Really love the Salem’s Lot - esque ears, the vicious maulers, and single fang. The dead skin grey - ish blue is an awesome tone and pairs very nicely with the purple skeleton body. I can’t wait to see more version and colors Michael and Ken come up with. Big congrats to Michael on a successful project with Headlock!

That detail shot from the top of the head that really nicely showcases the new head sculpt, showing the great flow on that slime!
    Congrats, Michael.
    Great shots as always, Robert.

Got a hold of a painted green Kid Creature, whereas my previous photos were a borrowed toy from a friend, so I had to get a bagged shot.

Thanks so much, @Kevlo9! Very much appreciated!

@jojo the dog faced boy I definitely wanted to get a lot of angles showin’ off the slimy details of Knuckle’s sculpt. It’s got that natural candle wax drip look and the way it flows off the head and hands just works out so awesome!

Fantastic come up! I love me some black vinyl. When lit properly, which is admittedly a challenge, you get every nook and cranny in the sculpt, and with the hooded nature of this one I’m itchin’ to shoot it as much as own it at some point. You captured it nicely!!!

@grosspustule Thanks so much! I was gonna go ham on photos, but with the exception of the claw and colors I didn’t want to be redundant! But this is a very, very bad ass release all around.

Headlock has teamed up with Blue Hip Studio once more to birth two of a kind from the same different suit. Joker Twins, presumably, as neither seem to have official, differentiating titles. These are pretty damn great. Very traditional in terms of classic jester garb, and even the marottes don’t steer far from what you’d expect the fool to carry and wave. I’m much more partial to the wicked faced version, but they’re both full of personality and have a fun look to ‘em. The more cheerful of the two kinda reminds me of the clown from Poltergeist a bit. It’ll interesting to see what color combos come about for future releases.

Thanks for capturing and posting these. While they're not really my thing, I definitely appreciate them and enjoy seeing Headlock work on these collabs. The 2 faces and expressions are perfect. The more realistic marotte is the 1 piece I do want, to have some of my other toys hold creepily.

I also have a set and like you @xSuicide Squadx I prefer the wicked one too; however, the jolly one is growing on me because the more I look at him, the more he seems to have that creepy vibe that even normal clowns / jesters give off. He also has a vintage 50s-60s mascot feel to him and I love old marketing characters / brand ambassadors.

As always, your photos have done a great job capturing these toys.
