I keep thinking about that horrible, brutal Ragon. It's all just a hunk of plastic to that guy.

I keep thinking about it too! It really is so sad...I can only take comfort in the thought that someday, someone, somewhere will pick it up out of the garbage and repaint it into something (hopefully) less terrible.

I don't get it either. Here is another one. In general I think a lot of these Sofubi Man customs border on being disrespectful to the real person.

The first two are basically the same toy. Not a shred of originality.

You know, I sure wonder what the friends of fugly collectors think when they first see these toys at their house. I’d probably be like “Damn bro, there sure are a lot of Hitlers and man-boobs.”

I saw few of these ‘customs’ hit mandarake today. Have they just aged really really badly or were they as bad when first done?

Those all look like KATOPE customs, and I think he was officially linked to Gargamel in one way or another. That drawn on look was his style, and it was hit or miss with me, but if it is just pen on the vinyl, it’s probably not aging well. Pen can bleed into vinyl and get cloudy looking.

@hellopike yeah they are listed as Katope customs.

I will have to go look up some old photos to get an idea how they looked freshly done.

Taiwan only? Good! Though I do feel sorry for the good people of Taiwan that this garbage has to stay there.
Yaaaaawn!!!! So tired of the Hilter bullshit. I used to work in a historically Jewish nursing home and met people who survived that shit still dealing with PTSD. Nothing fun or cool about suffering at the designs of people like that.

So, for me, there’s not any “shock”—and more “pathetically unoriginal dipshit seeking attention”—value.
