An interesting Toygraph toy popped up in Mandarake this evening.









It is described as "TOYGRAPH Sandwichman Robot Black Molding / Gold / Silver Painting / Red Eye"

Does anyone know which TV show this robot appears in and any more info on the toy? I never knew Toygraph made robot vinyls!

 

I think this one is from Gorath Movie 1962 妖星ゴラス

I never see this movie too but I saw some small scence for this robot. Anyway, Marusan did this robot too.

 

Thanks for posting the video! Because of the added clues, I found these two summaries and reviews of the movie. Turns out the robot is a costume for the male character named Kanai.

It looks like a TV broadcast version. The robot guy shows up about 13 min in.
