I quit this year. No time since going back to school. Collecting is too competitive and I can't afford the distraction. Keeping about 20% but I've been slowly selling off a lot. I may be back but considering 3 more years of school, two years of internship, and making a career it is doubtful. I linger though. There are some good minds on skullbrain and I like to check the banter occasionally.
Totally appreciate that aspect. For me it was a very welcome side aspect to break away mentally from the hard work and stress of studies, but you definitely have to develop your own balance. What is it you are going back to school for?
I am busy creating my profile on PsychologyToday and other sites. Definitely adding that in! I could even offer to be paid in toys...
Why I Sold My Collection video On this episode, Dan talks about the need to collect everything and how quickly it can get out of hand. He also talks about selling his collection to save his collection, his moment of clarity, and getting things under control.
I thought it was posted before. But didn't want to look for it. A good video that deserves to be posted again.

this article sums up why I don’t really get NFTs as a collectible item. I’ll take a physical item over a digital proof of purchase any day.
Yuuuuup! I never could grasp NFT's, some go for serious amounts of moolah too. Who's to say the electrons don't get zapped in the future. And holding the actual molecules is way more fun!
That's accurate because neither of them exist and you can see how small of a dick the people who have buy them actually have.
I agree... I want to know I have This piece in my posession, just sitting potentially collecting dust, but it makes me feel a bit of happiness when i glance at it once every few days lol
So they're buying a receipt for something thats in an online thing called a block chain, of a jpeg that is available in good resolution for free anyway. I still don't understand what they 'own'. What is it specifically that they spent thousands of real dollars on? This might of already been explained elsewhere on SB, and admittedly I might be too thick to ever wrap my head around this shit.
In Kozik's case, at least NFTs may cut down on the amount of petrol-based garbage he's been pumping into existence over the past couple decades?
