    Hey folks,

So, among other surprises that ToyTokyo will be announcing in the coming weeks leading up to the Toy Nirvana that is SDCC, I was super excited to find out that TT will be the place to go for Cronic's SDCC Exclusive releases!

TT will be releasing several exclusives from Cronic...both in painted and unpainted versions. As I find out more info I will put a post here detailing the releases...the first of which will be a clear blue painted Zyurai Asu (also available unpainted)...

all of the TT Cronic releases will be limited, and the unpainted figures will be really limited...just wanted to inform the Cronic-heads who were wondering if there would be any new releases for the Con...so the place to get your fix will be the TT Booth starting Wednesday night!

Lev an Co. at TT currently had no pictures, as the figures are still being painted...but I'll keep mining for more information...

    See you all there...

I will have a shirt that says 'I'm that Fresh Meat you've both been so nice to'. And you will see me often as well...either at the TT booth, or fighting for hot wheels. Or both.

Fingers crossed for a hot new Dorome colorway.

    Tripasu, please.

Tripasu is Mark Nagata's baby...and it hasn't been rolled out yet...so TT won't have any Tripasus at the Con...

They will, however, have a clear red Nougaki in painted and unpainted versions...

Whew. I said 'please' hoping there would be one, but I'm kinda glad there won't be any. A double-edged sword. That just means more dough for other toys.

I'm actually thinking there will be a Tripasu at SDCC...I just know TT won't have it.

seems like a natural place to launch it...

Tripasu had a limited debut already, but I think SDCC will be the public debut as Lorne says.

Since Tripasu is a collab. between Cronic and Max Toy Co., I think it would be at the MTC booth.

Word from Mark is that there's not going to be a Max Toy booth...he's signing at Strangeco on either Friday or Saturday.

How do I know? Because he's a nice guy who answers his email. And that's what he said. :) This was a few weeks back, so maybe that's changed...but MTC isn't listed on the SDCC exhibitors page.

MTC will not have a booth at SDCC. MTC toys will be sold at the Strangeco booth. Painted Tripasu is expected to drop. First Tri was an unpainted clear green, released a couple days ago through MTC FC.

Sorry, should have checked the SDCC exhibitors list. I assumed it was like last year.

just found out earlier today that in addition to the two figures announced already, TT will also have a clear green Dorome release at the con...again in painted and unpainted versions...

looks like more to come too...really hoping to get pictures before the Con but it looks like it's going to come down to the wire...may not have them until the day before the Con starts...excited about all this new Cronic though...

So I figured since we have a week and a half before the Con I would try to dig out the rest of the info on TT's Cronic exclusives for SDCC...

It is actually a huge project, covering the entire Cronic family in a series of clear releases:

    -Blue Zyurai Asu
    -Red Nougaki
    -Green Dorome
    -Red Bakerasu
    -Pink Ankoron
    -Orange Dorogami
    -Yellow Maverazu

and an additional Nougaki...in clear black...

So this all seems to continue the rainbow based schemes that Naoki has used...but this tima across the figures as a group...again, all the figures are being released in painted and unpainted versions...I'm dying for pictures, but it looks like there won't be any as these are being sent in the 11th hour...if I can get some I will post them...

anyway, I'm super excited about more new Cronic...and wondering how an unpainted set of these figures will look together...

That's a whole lot of Cronic toys geez... collectors must be biting a hole in their wallet right now.
